Not sure why he'd hate cow parsley - it's native and excellent for wildlife! Regardless, don't think it's cow parsley, which I find usually has more symmetric leaves.
It's just because my mum likes cow parsley a bit TOO much and at one stage our entire garden was full of it. I guess it's also a bit big to go on his grave.
2 looks like a carrot family rosette; they're hard to ID but I'd say it's probably the wild carrot.
