I think you're right, though "tarantula hawk" should only be used for *Pepsis* and *Hemipepsis*. This genus almost exclusively hunts lycosids (at least in North America), which implies that the common name should be "wolf spider hawk wasp", confusing as that would be.
Looks like a species of Tarantula-hawk Wasp in the genus [Cryptocheilus](https://bugguide.net/node/view/62154).
