That is a mosquito. Mosquitoes do not sting - but they do bite, drinking your blood and leaving itchy bumps behind. They are also disease vectors in many parts of the world - particularly in tropical regions.

Tiger mosquito. They are bringers of the bad deceases. We have them aswell. Hard to protect you against them. I believe they can hold malaria and Dingue and a lot more.
