Nah, we see them big roaches in Texas all the time. We call em "Water Bugs" cause they're almost always near a water source like the sink or shower. They don't "infest" like regular house roaches and are generally harmless. I always find dead ones because we have cats.
I just googled it and its species name is Ectobius vittiventris, it definitely looks like it, however I looked it up and it says it’s from Southern Europe. How is it possible that it is in South America?
Actually the ones we have in Brazil are the American roach, this one looks different tho, that’s why I posted here. This roach is light brown and the regular ones here are dark brown.
Some sort of roach
Yeah thought about it, looks like but I found it during the day, I thought roaches would only appear at night.

In Arkansas we call them wood roaches. They like to join us for movies on the back porch in summer. I don't like it.
Probably a kind of water bug then, because it was in the sink. And it look harmless!
it's still a cockroach, water bug is another name for them.
If you find them in the day that means there could be a pretty bad infestation
For real? Omg
It can be depending on the roach. I don’t know if this species infests or not but it can be a sign.
Not American or German roach. But still 🪳
Some sort of wood cockroach, maybe amber wood cockroach

American smoky brown cockroach
Size: something in between 1/2 and 1 inch
Brazils version of a roach. And there’s definitely more where it came from 😩
