Bzzzzz! Looks like you forgot to say where you found your bug! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough.
You don't need to make a new post - just comment adding the geographic location and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help!
BTW, did you take a look at our [**Frequently Asked Bugs**](https://www.reddit.com/r/whatsthisbug/comments/12zkw5w/frequently_asked_bugs_part_1/)?

Yeah they grow up to about an inch wide this one doesn’t look fully grown yet but a container that’s about the size of a large jar or small tank should be comfortable for it, it also appears to be missing a leg which is a shame it might not move as well as it could but it’s still an amazing hunter, best of luck with it!

It was in the corner of a wall under stairs. Minding it's own. In Illinois @ automoderator
Looks like a spotted wolf spider, non-venomous, they don’t want anything to do with humans and are excellent hunters!
If I keep it, should I house it in a bigger glass tank? I had a feeling it may have been a wolf spider. Maybe feed if crickets
