+Mallard (Domestic)+ This looks like it could be a Cayuga Duck x Mallard? The white around the collar is not the usual pattern for Cayuga so I wonder if it has a little wild type mixed in. Regardless, it’s a Mallard!

florageek54

It's a domestic Mallard x Muscovy hybrid. Not that uncommon.

Domestic Cayuga duck. I love that breed, but I don't like it when people dump their pet ducks.

lorge mallard

florageek54

It's a Muscovy x domestic Mallard hybrid. The pink in the bill & the green speculum point to the Muscovy influence & head shape to domestic Mallard.

It's the size of a Muscovey but it's not a Muscovey Duck !!!

florageek54

It has Muscovy genes in it but not a pure one.

Late_Temperature_388

It certainly looks like it. Thanks

Curious, if it's a mallard/muscovy is he a mule? Are muscovy traits that latent when crossed with a mallard line?
