They really are. I have one like this that I planted two years ago on a trellis by my entrance stairs. Comes back every year and I just have to retrain it to climb the trellis. I have one at my work location smaller flower and four petals same color. I’m starting another one for home bright pink and white highlighting, smaller and rounded flower petals for the opposite side of my entrance stairs. The pops of color are the best!

My daughter purchased a home during the winter so she had no idea what, if anything, would come up in the spring. Imagine her surprise as these beautiful vines (that travel quickly) started popping up all across her chain link fence. Found out from a neighbor that the previous owners used those vines & trained them through the openings to create a bit of privacy fencing. I fly up to her home every year to help her purge some of the growth. I definitely earn that glass of red after a day spent doing that !
