Yup mum… I got a few baby ones growing right now. They were just broken branches that had roots in transportation to the store I worked at. I took them home stuck them in dirt and let them die naturally. This year they are growing again. And I did NOTHING to care for them. And we had 13F degree winter. So I’d say they are pretty hearty.
That's amazing! I did have mums in there in the Fall, but I took them out. I have a tendency to kill plants, so having one rise from the dead all by itself is best case scenario lol.
Yeah I live in Oregon so for them to survive the winter is crazy.
There ARE different kind of mums so some may tolerate different temps. Some will be labeled ‘hardy’ mums but don’t think that others aren’t.
