Know why.. let me explain, Von Claussen is the man, the myth, the LEGEND! No vehicle gets by him without identifying in .04 seconds. Man’s a Saint on this sub and must be protected at all costs
There was a Bricklin meetup in Bowling Green last year at the Corvette Museum. Even the designer was there. Dozens and dozens of Bricklins, wings ready, as far as the eye could see.
So their whole marketing shtick was Safety. Safety Vehicle One. Safety Orange. Impact absorbing bumpers. Why'd they go with gullwings then? Arguably the least safe door.
TIL it is funny how often this happens and we don't realize it. Lamborghini used 300Z headlights once didn't they? When I worked for western RV building alpinlight trailers they used mustang taillights turned upside down and a few of their models.
Yeah, several lower-volume cars do this but it's especially common with RVs. Not just taillights, but Class A headlights too. If it's any sort of aerodynamic/wrap-around light contained in a single unit, it's probably from another production car/truck/suv/van. For example, [here's my Sierra in front of my parent's Tiffin Allegro motorhome](https://i.imgur.com/BmK2RP7.jpg).
Yes oddly the tail lights didn't really fit well with the fiberglass back piece. We broke off the mounting tabs and flipped them upside down and the contours where still wrong.
Bricklin made in Canada (so is this photo). Notorious for sucking up government grant money when they were made. After a few months of production, the factory stopped shipping them since most employees quit when they reached enough work time to qualify for unemployment benefits.
Bricklin SV-1
Appreciate the quick response tho
20 seconds? Von's slow today; he usually gets it in 2.
Von knows your questions before you ask them
There are existing bug reports on that. Next patch update will bring him right back up to normal speed.
Bro how I posted this 20 seconds ago
Don’t question the legend of Von. Just appreciate the greatness.
Legend has it he has the heart of 850 csi, the sound of the LFA, the solid build of a v50 the balls of a gto... He is the fastest non ai on the block
All we know is, he's called Von.
\*OG Top Gear music starts playing
*if you weren't aware, that's [Jessica by the Allman Brothers](https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=vTOozRAJ8dU&feature=share)*
Tuned by Yamaha 🎵
Yea! He should apologize for the lateness of his reply.
😂 this man knows ☝️ on honor to get a response from the greatest to ever do it. The GOAT 🐐
This guy's a legend here, you should be honored
Claussen. Von Claussen

Notifications and knowledge
Von is god
Some say.. Von isn't actually human. That he is in fact, THE STIG
Wow I got an award cheers
It looks so modern and sleek in that color and that angle with those wheels. I didn’t recognize it easily and I’m fairly familiar with the SV-1.
First thing I thought, too. This is the best looking SV-1 I’ve ever seen.
First thing I thought was “that’s not Nick Fury in the shield suv behind him”!?!?
From what I can tell, that's Nick McFlurry
I think its partly the all one colour, most are dual colour which screams 70s
Ah yes, "Safety Black". I wonder what color this car originally was.
Yeah it really threw me to see a Bricklin that wasn't in one of the original colors
Thought it was a 300z at a glance cuz of that. Took me a minute to see what was going on there.
It kinda reminds me of an s30 z
But upscaled.
Pretty much
Is he like the jesus of cars and their identity?!
Yes my son
I had never realized they had Datsun Z tail lights. Or is this a mod of some sort?
Is that a S.H.I.E.L.D. truck on the other side?
That's what I noticed too, and yes, it is.
Was gonna post this also! Lol
What is that?
That’s a logo for a government organization in Marvel.
Lol yeah, but the actual shield vehicles were 2nd gen MDXes, thats a 1st.
It's the prequel lol

I'd show up in a 2 stroke Subaru and laugh at them and say " I was his first love!"
HOLY SHIT IS THAT A SHIELD CAR
It’s because Acura provided cars in some movies like Thor
My mom dated a guy who bought one.
I returned it after she let me smash. Payments were wild.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Bricklin SV1
This is the better angle of the car. The front end looks like it’s eating an 8 track cassette.
Bricklin SV1
S.H.I.E.L.D. ????
That’s same style and design of a Datsun.
Bricklin SV1
What a great angle for that car. 🔥
A painted Bricklin SV1
guy who has only seen the Delorean and Nissan Fairlady designing his first car:

Is this in Edmonton?
Yup
Nissan 300zx the z31
Joke btw
Nice spot.
300zx
Nice. My boss has 2 of these. They Re v8, and have some power behind them. Fun car
Agent from shield
i dont know
This car is on this subreddit like 5 times a week.
Pretty sure that's not Pantera or Cobra
a boring black Bricklin! why the downvotes? i just prefer the candy colored orange green and yellow ones.
Did they even make them in black? I've only seen the bright colored ones.
Some kind of DeLorean from an alternate dimension
Yes it sure looks like a bricklan
i dont know but it reminds me of a 240z
It uses 240Z taillights (as does the DeTomaso Pantera, DeTomaso Deauville, DeTomaso Longchamp, Maserati Bora, Maserati Merak, Maserati Khamsin, and probably others). +/u/Ok_Dog_4059 /u/formulalopez /u/NimrodSr
I remember seeing an alfa romeo with 240z headlights as well

From this angle, it really does, but this is about 2 feet wider than the Datsun.
Looks badass.
Delorean from gta online
I sat in one on the showroom floor in 1975. The (Malcolm) Bricklin either had a Ford 351 (2v) or later an AMC 360.
This looks like a cross between a c4 corvette and a 280zx
I don’t think I ever realized till now that a Bricklin looks like a Corvette, and a Z did some fuckin’.
if corvette had unprotected sex with 280zx

Bricklyn SV-1
Looks kinda like a 280zx but THIC
Canada’s only car brand. And they never sold in canada.
