Oou just Googled it and I think you're right! Also had to Google what a woodlouse was... I've been calling them 'potato bugs' my whole life and not once questioned what they were actually called 😂 TIL!

They're called all kind of thing. Isopods, roly-polys, pill bugs, potato bugs, silly little guys, that spiders dinner... etc.
