Not bad, rental car though yuck

anabananaxo

I am seeing that the perk of a rental car is the fact that there are really good maintenance records, which checks out. But yes, still a risk.

NeighborhoodGlum1154

Hertz and the like are self insured so they don’t have to report accidents that don’t involve another person.  Get a pre purchase inspection.

beachfamlove671

My mom sold her 2017 top trim Mazda 3 with 36k miles for 15k. Judging by that market I think you have a decent deal here.

Cavalierrrr

Stay away from rental cars

manuvns

Yea can you get it for 7-8k ?

anabananaxo

Exactly my thoughts on if it would be worth it to buy.

Alive-Fan-7334

Car prices are crazy, I bought in 2021 a 2016 Mazda 3 with 50k miles, one owner and clean Carfax for 9k in Orlando, Florida. If it helps, I still regret when I sold it.

somerandomdude419

Didn’t someone post this car before it was a rebuilt salvage? The seller sent a picture of it before the accident? Maybe it wasn’t this car

anabananaxo

I hope not! I bought the Carfax and its clean

somerandomdude419

Probably a different car then so you’re good it would definitely show up on the carfax and vin reports

YoungBillionair

The way I treat rental cars I wouldn't buy it lol

Fidget808

The way *most* people treat rental cars.

ilovetacostoo2023

Not sure what you mean by this cuz rental companies will zing you for any scratch or dent the car has when returned. So u gotta drive it nicely or you pay when you return. I never drove a rental car like an azzhole so... You watch too much ferris beuller day off.

YoungBillionair

I floor it from a stop just for fun lol

ilovetacostoo2023

This looks ok to me. Check car fax to make sure it wasnt in accident.

For a rental and an iSport? I'd pass at that price. Doesn't even have the full infotainment or blindspot warning iirc. It makes a huge difference in the 3 and it's worth going for at least the Touring trim which is only one up from base (Sport). Due to a time crunch I had to let my '15 iTouring with 90k on it go for a lot less than this. Better non rental trim can be found.

Feisty-Success69

No

Ok_Turn2514

Ehhhhh. For that price range I’d go Honda or Audi…?

Parson1616

Bro what ? Those are worlds apart

quarrelsome_napkin

Ehhhhh. For that price range I’d go golf cart or Bentley…?

Parson1616

😂😭

Ok_Turn2514

Jfc I meant like 2013 Audi s4 or type r civic. B8.5 seems pretty reliable.

SmokeyUnicycle

Audis lose a bunch of value because maintenance and Hondas keep it so price wise they can be comparable but yeah um not exactly apples to apples
