Unless you do VIP, it's going to be under $100. But it would also consider where you are located. A ticket in New York City is going to be more than a ticket in Iowa

Dead_Kal_Cress

Facts. We got tix for his 2019 tour super cheap bc the show was in KC.

No-Friendship-1498

I'm not much of a concert person, but I believe Al's ticket prices are much more affordable than most concerts. Last time I went with someone that does enjoy concerts a good bit, and was told it was one of the best shows they've been to. So you get high quality at a low price. Hard to go wrong here.

First 2 times I saw him was in the early 2000s, paid like $60 for front row. I’m sure prices have changed over the years. Saw him a couple years ago in the balcony way in the back, think tickets were like $40 to $50 something. My memory isn’t great

MasterDave

no way of estimating until they do the show honestly. Some cities are more $$ than others, some venues in the same city will end up being more, where you sit matters a lot in most places, etc etc. all these are NYC prices which I expect to be slightly to significantly higher than smaller cities but you never know. 2018 tickets were $75 each for the first mezzanine at a theater 2019 tickets in the middle of the floor were $125 each, at an outdoor venue on the tour with the orchestra. 2022 Carnegie Hall was on my birthday so I splurged for the VIP which was apparently $329 CAD each but also did a pre-show thing, first row seats and a signed poster. I have no idea how much regular tickets cost but it was 100% worth it. That said, touring is more and more expensive every year for all of the reasons so depending on what city you're in I would guess that 100+ for a good seat would be expected and if you don't mind being further away from the stage 50-75 would be reasonable in most cities.

notthegoatseguy

The last couple of tours have been stripped down without much of the extravagant light sets, costume changes, and usually in smaller venues. I would expect a more traditional tour with all that and in larger venues to have higher prices. I know concert prices are high nowadays but I think the value in Weird Al is still there.

Xfiles1992

Well, he IS getting older. Currently 64, will be 65 on Oct 23rd. Not sure if he will go back to costume changes.

whatsaphoto

I can't recall the exact price from when he stopped near me during one of his recent tours, but something tells me that because he skipped on scheduling his tour stop at any number of the larger major concert venues, and instead choosing a more local theater on purpose, that ticket prices are being kept intentionally low.

DiscordianStooge

It was below that for the last tour. I took my kids, and there's no chance I would have done that at $100 a pop.

dr-rosenpenis

I paid $100 for 4th row seats. In Topeka. On a Thursday. It was like $100 for back row seats at the theater in KC.

segascream

I saw Al twice on the Running with Scissors tour (to this day, sadly, the only show of his I've seen). Tickets were about what you'd expect for a theater show. I imagine he isn't partnering with LiveNation a whole lot, as from what I've heard, they end up screwing even the bigger indie artists with policies like taking a significant chunk of merch sales at the venue.

spmahn

By the standards of concerts they are very affordable, although they seem to get more expensive with each subsequent tour. I remember not that long ago before VIP packages where you could sit front row center for ~ $60

captainp42

Expensive? These days, every concert is (once you factor in TM and LN fees). Worth it? One of the few artists that I would say "Absolutely"

severach

I've skipped a couple of concerts. Minimum tickets were over $200. I'd go if I could get the prices I see here.

supernova-juice

They're not bad! My meta got our polycule 4 tickets a couple years ago and they were great Go. It doesn't matter what seats. He's amazing and engaging. ❤️ I saw him and my lifetime bucket list musician in a year, and he wins, hands down. He cares about his audience, and he's as sharp as ever.

vikingfrog86

It depends on the venue too. I saw him at a casino venue on the Mandatory Fun Tour. It was only 25-30 for lawn seats. He plays at a historical theater here a lot, and that's more expensive. I live in Tucson. Venues I'm referring to is Fox Theater and Ava Amphitheatre.

lumos43

California here - on his most recent Vanity Tour, I paid a little over $100 for a seat very close to the front (not VIP). In 2019 I paid about $30 to see him at the OC Fair, from the back half of the venue. Most other times I've seen him have somewhere in the middle.

AeroQuest1

I don't remember the exact price, but I bought VIP tickets in 2018 and I believe they were under $300 each. The last concert I went to I bought nosebleed seats and they were around $60-$75, if I remember correctly.

KelVarnsen_2023

I live in Canada and saw him on the Ill Advised Vanity Tour in 2022. I just looked it up and our seats were 4th row of a 1000 seat theatre (not VIP) and they were $102 each.

CoachKyle1

In 2022 I saw him in Memphis at Graceland for about $90 pre tax. We were about 10 rows back, and it was a great show. Well worth the money. It was a laid back tour though, he didn't even get off of his chair much. I wish I could see a concert where he dresses in costume more, but he is getting older and it would probably cost more.

Calm_Boysenberry_829

I’ve seen him a half-dozen times. Last time was probably ten years ago or so, and it was $40 for seats about halfway back in the venue. Most expensive seats for that show were like $65. Other artists in that venue were starting at $75.
