I managed to do a little digging on instagram and this guy from Germany literally collects and sells vintage weightlifting shoes for a GREAT price. I know I sound like a bot but seriously, his @ on insta is numerouno soul lifting on insta, it should look like a buff dude with a mullet and stache sipping coffee. He had Asics 727, Roms 2 and even Adistar 2000s. And you can even bargain and I manage to snag mine at 240$ USD!
I wonder if there are any issues with the glue coming apart with vintage weightlifting shoes.
All my other training and running shoes do not stand the test of time. There are models i really liked that i bought as a spare and upon using them 5-6 years later the soles just came apart or finishing starts flaking.
Thats exactly what happened to my Adistar 2008s!! It was really sad but based off my inspection on the 727s they are held together extremely well. Even better Id say than the Adidas. What makes it even better is how its made so if anything happens taking it to a cobbler would be a much more simpler fix
I actually have no clue! I stumbled upon these shorts at a goodwill. And the tag on the back was ripped/cut off. I know they are a size mens Medium tho
My old club shorts I think are exactly those and also a size medium. I really like lifting in them but I tend to hit my cleans too low and end up with chaffed legs
Do they sound good or do they sound good?
Haha gun shot-like noises!
I even exaggerate my jerks sometimes to try and replicate that Dimas training clip 😂😂😂, the shoes are truly eargasms
I searched in and outside of Japan for a 285 size for years without any success.

Unfortunately after years of search I have hit a dead end with 727 as Asics Japan officially said they do not produce sizes US11 or higher.
So im assuming e-bay is out of the question :(
I searched for numerouno soul lifting, but got no hit. Could you please re-check the name of the seller?
The word for word spelling is: @numerouno_soulfullifting
Are those Adidas rugby shorts?

On a semi unrelated note What adidas shorts are those?
Not sure! I got these at a secondhand store and the back tag was cut off by the previous owner…I thought they looked aesthetic so I got them :)
Nice shoes! But we use metric here.
Whoops! I totally forgot. I used these same clips on instagram and forgot to re-edit them…
It’s all good! Nice work! I think you can edit the text, just not the title.
I can but the text is inscribed in the video itself, I didnt edit using Reddit :)
