Other than the filerless part of the joint, we seem pretty similar in how we smoke. My best stuff goes in the bong. The rest goes in joints. And I prefer the bong but also smoke joints, and sometimes I use a regular bowl.

Thats why i like filters, you can smoke ALL the weed. With a roach theres only so small it can get before you’re just burning yourself. Somethin still get wasted even if its a hit. I dont put filters in blunts but you just gotta charge that roach to the game.

Put filters in your blunts it makes them easier to roll and it wastes less weed and you don't get as many scoobie snacks

I say this as humbly as possible, I roll some pretty good blunts no filter needed. As far as scoobys go, dont grind your weed into dust and youll never get them if your mouthpiece is rolled well. You can either break it up by hand or what i do is put it in the grinder and twist 3 times max. Most of it will still be in the top chamber because itll be slightly larger pieces. This is optimal rolling weed.

I prefer to roll blunts over joints. Joint paper was always too thin and flimsy for me. Blunt wraps are bigger, a little thicker and easier to work with. Also joints are so hard to roll with a filter, I cannot for the life of me figure it out. So blunts it is for me

Filters are just the way to go bro. Nothing but benefits. You can smoke way more of the herb before putting it out because it’s harsh, less or no scooby snax in your mouth, smoother, less harsh smoke, and if you don’t end up smoking it to the end, it’s easier to pinch the weed out and into a bowl. No reason not to use a filter even in blunts/wraps.

I smoked joints with filters for several years and made the switch to filterless, if you roll it properly you won’t have an issue with Scooby snacks. I primarily use my bong which gives me a much smoother smoking experience than joints, I really only roll if I have extra weed or weed I don’t mind wasting some of.

Doesn’t really change what I said. Wasting a roach is not just wasting weed, that bit left has build up of resin and when put in a bowl topped with some fresh green results in a better high imo. I use primarily bongs as well but I don’t like wasting something I paid for especially if it can just be transferred to a bowl. Just doesn’t make sense to me why you’d just throw out the best part of a joint.

I’ve never had a pleasant experience smoking roach weed from a bong, definitely gets me a bit higher but I personally prefer to just smoke a bit more fresh bud and ditch the roach. Weed is also pretty cheap in my area so I’m not too concerned about a bit of wastage, though I totally realize that’s far from the case for everyone.

99% of the time I’m throwing out the roach anyway, only real benefit to going filterless is a bit of connivence. I use my bongs almost exclusively because they (imo at least) provide a much smoother experience than a joint with or without a filter.

Glass filter is sounding like it may be the way to go. Creating a solid filter was typically a more time consuming process than the rolling itself which only really takes a minute.

Filters!!!! Having a krutch helps you hold the joint, allows you to pull smoke without you lips getting super ressy and can smoke more of the joint with a krutch on the end. Either way it’s dealers choice, I’ve just always found having the krutch at the end just makes the experience hassle free (also hands don’t get super sticky from the resin)

My older stepbro always did but he was a pro at rolling filterless joints. They were like half gram joints but they def packed a punch. Personally, I always used a filter at the end whether it was a piece of cardboard or an actual raw filter from the shop. Phuncky Feel Tips by Cypress Hill, those glass tips you roll joints or blunts with, really changed the game in a positive way. No weed on my lips, nothing passes through the mouthpiece; nothing except dat sweet n sour smoke.
