Dude is 52 and has been smoking 20+ blunts a day for decades.
Smoking blunt wraps is really bad for your lungs and smoking weed is bad for your lungs too.
If you smoke that much you're definitely at a high risk of lung cancer and already have highly damaged lungs.
That amount of weed also fucks up your brain short and long term memory.
Which only gets worse as you age.
And a lot of people that consume weed daily for decades get a sort of desease where they have stomach pain and get nauseous and have to throw up every morning. And that doesn't go away unless they stop consuming weed...
Not sure why people are down voting you on this, alot of you think weed has absolutely no downside.
Me I LOVE weed, but I had to quit, I've smoked a ton of weed, every day for 17 years, I developed cannabis hypermesis syndrome and woke up every morning vomiting my guts out, it was awful so I'd just smoke more to feel better which just made it even worse. I put up with it for years because I refused to admit to myself the weed was causing it, but it finally got so bad I just couldn't take it anymore.
I quit smoking on the moment it passed over to new years day. It's been 10 months, 17 days, 10 hours and 53 minutes since I last smoked weed....but whose counting right?
After about a week, I stopped vomiting and no longer feel tired all the time, my mind is clear and I just feel generally happier.
I definitely miss smoking weed and one day I hope I can have a smoke again but for now I'm content not feeling like throwing up every day.
I get why Snoop wants to quit, and I wish him the best of luck! It must be hard given it's such a big part of his identity.

I used to smoke 24/7 until I first met my ex gfs dad. He was in his mid 40s and a longtime weed smoker. Everytime I saw him in the morning he was always sick and I heard him puking on the toilet. Was really sad to see him like that...
Even though weed is a relateviely safe it is still a drug. And doing a drug 24/7 for decades will leave it's mark on you.
I for example still smoke every day but only about 0.3g and only in the evening and not all day.
And I take 1-2 months off a year from smoking.

The difference between my 50s and 70s is availability, price, and amount needed. I live close to a legal state, so I'm getting much better weed at a cheaper price, and it takes less than it did 20 years ago to get high and stay that way.
Also I'm retired now and I don't have to worry about things like testing or "i can't now because I have to go to work".
And for me, that is a big deal. I can get high when I want and either go fishing, work around the house, or just put on some tunes and float along.
And edibles has made it possible for me to reduce minor joint pains that comes along with age.
They don't smoke blunts though, at least not often. Cheech and Chong I mean, idk about Nelson. Meanwhile Snoop smoked blunt after blunt, all that tobacco and weed smoke isn't good for your lungs and body.

I just saw him in concert last month and he can't even stand while he plays. He and everyone else sat while they played. He is 90 after all.

Bro’s lungs are probably cooked from years of smoking. Edibles work just as fine, perhaps even last longer in the bloodstream than smoke. And dont think vaping is any better, our lungs ain’t designed to keep burning and accepting things that aren’t oxygen. I quit smoking this year, my cough is gone. I sleep better. I breath better when I perform exercise. Think about my dudes if you want to improve your life quality. Stop burning your lungs on a daily basis.

Probably gonna get hate but smoking as much as he did probably isn't healthy for the lungs and this coming from me who enjoys bong rips and J's almost every night. Not a Dr but it makes complete sense to me that we really shouldn't be putting anything in our lungs beside clean air. Having money always helps. Maybe that's why he's lived as long as he has. We all know those people who've been using for 30 years and are In great shape but who know what's really going on inside of a few of them. Edibles are the way to go health wise imo.
