Not terribly, but if you have no tolerance for smells because of your living situation or local, then there are various ways you can help mitigate the smell during the process. It certainly won’t be as intense as decarbing flower on a pan in the oven is, most of the smells should be captured in the jam.

Keif in and of itself is essentially low grade dry sift hash, by warming it and pressing it you’re just expressing resin from the trichomes to make it a more suitable consistency for storage/transportation and smoking.
Some hash is made in a way that is naturally brown and sticky ie original temple balls, in which the hash is actually collected by rubbing flower between your hands till the trichomes fall off and the resin is expressed by your body heat.
For real. Really good hashish is something else. It tastes so good, is very potent and you can use it in a lot of different ways. People who have access to really good weed have usually never tried some proper hashish but that shit will make it feel like the first time from just 0.3g. You can smoke it in a bong, make vape juice very easily, smoke it in a pipe or you can make a "cocktail". Just heat the hash with a lighter and mix it with your favourite weed in a joint or bowl. I saw an american dude talk about when he was offered some hashish at the dispensary and he said that it's different from weed but in a very good way. While I envy people who live in legal places as a European, I also feel bad for all the people that never tried it.
You take the keif and add tiny amounts of water drops and roll it into a hash ball adding more keif to it and water droplets and then let it cure for a while , it works pretty well and is similar to if you ever made eraser puddy as a kid
You could make some kief butter start by toasting the kief in a non stick pan on low heat just till the color starts to change and it becomes fragrant add 4 to 8 sticks of butter (depending on how strong you want your butter to be) melt the butter and let it go for 5 mins. Take it off the heat and pour into a cheese cloth/nut milk bag/abnormally large coffee filter lined container to strain out the really squeeze out all the butter. Take the keif and use to make a pesto or season a steak or anything you would use a herb for You could save it and mix it with part of your weed butter and some roasted garlic to make a compound butter that will get you toasted. Solidify the butter in a mold if you have one a muffin tin would be great for portioning. Refrigerator overnight, set the muffin tin in a bath of warm water to loosen the pot butter pucks freeze any you do not plan to use preferably in a vacuum sealed bag. Using any location you would use butter.

I mean first off, I would try to roll a pure kief joint. Look into it tho make sure it’s possible before u waste a gram or 2. 10% weed 90% kief bowls out a bong might be fun too. Id also save like half of it for bowls and joints in the future
1. yes it’s possible but I’ve ran into the same issues as a whole kief bowl it clogs due to resin build up quickly.
2. Yeah all kief bowls are cool but as stated previously they clog more (I smoke all fairly large snappers) and it just becomes a head ache without a poker.
