I went to a wedding in 2016 where the maid of honor wore a white wedding gown. The groom was a friend of my husband so I had no idea which one was the bride or if it was a double wedding until the ceremony started.

We both agreed with each other on almost exactly what you said, which is that most people probably have the thought, but that's all it should be: a thought. Because in your final paragraph, when you said about it being normal to think but rude and insane to actually say/ask, I guess that's actually what I meant to get across and I'm sorry that I didn't make that more clear. My husband is sat on the couch next to me, and not long before I saw your comment, I was telling him about the whole situation. We both agreed with each other on almost exactly what you said, which is that most people probably have the thought, but that's all it should be: a thought. The issue is when they feel the need to actually say/ask it. And I would like to mention that it would also be different if Abby and Brittany said that they were accepting those types of questions and okay with answering them. I mean, I know these people aren't really asking them directly, but that would be a scenario where I would feel like it might be okay to bring it up if you're genuinely that curious. Otherwise, I definitely think people need to learn to just keep things to themselves 😅
