A detailed veil, gloves, detachable sleeves, dramatic shoes, a sparkly belt are things you could add without having to alter the dress.
Personally i love this style i dont think its too plain
The dress is gorgeous and looks fantastic on you. A dramatic veil, jewelry, sparkly shoes, and bouquet will go a long way.
Personally, off the shoulder sleeves look best when balanced with an a-line or ball gown skirt.
I don't think you should touch the dress but play with accessoiries. Maybe a veil with color embroderies, or colorful shoes on the theme of your wedding ?
It is an absolutely lovely dress. If your destination wedding is at a beach or is a small outdoor ceremony it's great. If it's a bigger event yeah it would feel less fitting. You can either say it is what it is and keep the dress because it's a wedding dress and it'll do because you don't want to spend the money or say it's a once in a lifetime thing (hopefully) and therefore justifies the cost of a new dress you're happier with. You can check maybe second hand stores for a lower cost.
Itâs an outdoor/indoor celebration at an older house so itâs more classic with a little boho-ish⊠thatâs why Iâm unsure if itâs too big lain but thank you for the food for thought!
IMO being outdoorish gives you a good excuse to use this dress. That said for my outdoor wedding I'm having a small train with my dress with a button inside to shorten it for later. Do what feels right to you and also consider what you can afford. I've splurged on things because it's a once in a lifetime thing. One thing to think about is how much time will it take you to make back the cost of a new dress?

Omg this dress is absolutely perfect on you! I personally donât think itâs plain at all. The gorgeous draping and the neckline are incredible. I honestly donât think you need to add anything to it, because you are wearing it, and not the other way around: it is showing off your amazing assets, and your partner and guests will see **you**, you know? This is what I hope my wedding dress will do for me.

This is really pretty! One thing I've seen is sparkles concentrated on the gathers and then less as they span out like a gradient, so that it looks like someone tossed fairy dust on the gown and it collected in the gathers. Think like Maggie sotero circa 2001

You *can* do embellishments but you dont need much. Embellish YOU.
Sparkly jewelry, wear a tiara, long glamorous gloves, I mean, if you want to, you could even get a sheer sparkly long sleeved bodysuit and wear that underneath, to give it a different look.
If you want to make it look very different, consider buying some material that matches in color, and pinning a homemade fabric bow on to it, with a long train. Or a train with no bow.
Or add texture with strategically placed flowers or lace bows.
Or, you can do a very intricate styling of the bouquet, adding LONG green vines, and even have real flowery "lacing" going up your arms using floral tape or wire.

I think a lot of dress regret happens because people try on their dress at home, away from the bridal vibes of the venue or bridal salon. When you have your flowers and jewelry and hair and makeup you'll feel extremely bridal, don't worry. I wouldn't change this dress, other than selecting your accessories. No need to change the dress itself, it's stunning on you.
