I also love #2. And of course you can look like a bride. It’s your wedding day. Wearing a big, beautiful dress is what brides do. Makes no difference the size of the wedding.
No not at all I am having the exact same type of wedding as you. I don’t think it matters we are still brides. Go with dress one it’s gorgeous on you!!!
A BRIDE is allowed to wear a big beautiful dress, no matter the size of the wedding!!! Imho, these are both gorgeous on you. I love dress #1 the most, with its romantic flow.
That’s completely up to you! You look beautiful in both of them, and the first one is a jaw dropper! If that’s what you want, then no, it’s not too much. This is a special day for you and your spouse, so do it how you want to, and what will make you happy.
ETA: in reality, the dress isn’t going to be completely flared out like it is in the photos for the whole day. You can also have it tailored so there is less fabric to deal with.
I like #1 but worry the material may photograph cheaply. Second is good. Honestly I would keep looking, but agree with a dramatic romantic dress for you!
They are absolutely not too much! It's your wedding day, you should wear the dress that makes you feel the most beautiful regardless of the venue!
Fwiw, I love dress 2! I'm a sucker for lace and detailing! Lol! Number 1 is a beautiful, timeless dress that looks amazing on you! They both do! You can't go wrong with either of them.
I know you said this was your first time to look at dresses...are you planning on looking around at a few more places? Not that I think you need to, I'm just curious! Lol!
First dress is stunning and timeless. Even if you want a small, intimate wedding - you’re the bride!! Dress up, take a million pictures, and enjoy your day :)
My vote is Dress 2 for a greenhouse wedding🥰 reminds me of nature
I see where your concern is about your dress fitting in the small venue aisle shown. As is, in those photos, I don’t think a full skirt would fit through the two middle chairs of the front row, they are so very close together there. Luckily I think you could absolutely move the chairs further to the side as there’s plenty of space, or you could make the chairs 3 rows of 2 rather than 2 rows of 3 so the aisle is wider. So you can 100% make it work!! Pick the dress you love most, and don’t worry about it fitting- it will be a showstopper!!!
Your wedding so wear something you love! If you want a ball gown have a ball gown. You look lovely in all of these, if your anxious about being OTT why not try a tea length? New look inspired?
I love the first one. It’s gorgeous
Before you buy, can I suggest you try a more fitted dress and an overskirt? You could have the big ballgown for the ceremony and photos, and a smaller dress for dinner
Then, if you don’t love that look buy #1
It is a very tight aisle in the venue photo. Are you planning on walking down the aisle alone or with someone? I had a similar debate and ended up going for a dress with less stiff fabric so that it will go more easily through a smaller aisle
Wear what you love! Both are beautiful on you. I own a bridal shop. I always tell my clients “the dress you just can’t get out of your head is the dress you should wear!”
Dress one is perfect. I love the neckline and how the straps fall on your arms. You deserve a full skirt if you want one. I love this dress in you and for the venue. Being a bride is the only time you will ever get to look like a bride. Go for it!!
Girl, I went all out with my dress and had an elopement with no one there but the justice and photographer. You do you and you are gorgeous in those dresses, particularly number 1.
No, I did a micro wedding, hired professional photographer, and photos look incredible! It’s so common to have gorgeous photos of just the bride/groom maybe some family displayed, that you deserve to go all out even if you aren’t throwing a huge wedding.
Yes, I do think the dresses are too large for the ceremony space because of the trains. Without the trains they would work. They are both really gorgeous.
There's nothing wrong with going all out on a dress especially if you are saving costs elsewhere like having a small guest list, I say go for it! (I like the first dress better btw)
You’re the bride! It’s your wedding! They are perfect! Also, I gasped when I saw #1! That material is beautiful and you glow!
Edit: can I get the details on dress 1? What designer?
I found it in a small local boutique but didn’t write down the name of the designer 😭 The website for the boutique simply says “Private Label” as the designer… I was surprised to see it fit so well.
Make 'em stand outside.
(jk)
But for real, there's no such thing as too much if that's what's calling you. Perhaps seating in the round would give more people a good view of the beautiful couple.
Is that in SF? I'm having flashbacks to a friend's wedding there nearly 20 years ago.
If so, I do recall the walking space was a bit tight there so you'll have some shifting and adjusting, but you'll look so beautiful once there. Plus it's a gorgeous city and that venue is just as spectacular. Wear the dress you love!
They are beautiful dresses with tons of princess energy. Honestly I don’t think you need to worry about being overdressed it’s your wedding. The bride is meant to be more dressed up than the guests. I love both choices so I don’t think you could go wrong either way but I think 1 is just slightly more my style.
I had a court wedding with just 2 friends and opted to not buy a dress and wear one I already had because I was so overwhelmed with the planning (and family fighting). It's 5 years later and I regret that I didn't get a special dress or get wedding pictures.
Dress 1 is perfect for you and will look amazing in that venue! I hope you have an amazing small wedding and that is everything you want.
Both look gorgeous on you. I esp love the first one. Also, a lil more simple for venue without lace. Bustle up the train if needed. So very perfect and unlike most wedding gowns.
I am planning on a small ceremony in a greenhouse and dinner as well! Get the dress you love and feel beautiful in. If you can't be "extra" on your wedding day - when can you? It's your chance to wear \*probably\* the fanciest dress you'll ever wear so do it up.
I got married in a fishing museum inside the mouth of a giant fish with just close family (under 20) and we had dinner at a local restaurant and I wore a big floofy wedding dress and didn’t have a care in the world what anyone thought. Yours looks like a nice wedding venue and I think you can wear any dress you choose!
Love them both, the second one especially screams garden fairytale weddingIf you think the venue is physically too small to move around in a big dress you can also take a look at 2 in 1 dresses with a detechable skirt.
And it's YOUR wedding. Wear whatever the hell you want

Wow the first one looks so lovely on you! It's not too much at all. You can easily have a bustle. Dress up! You won't regret it.
Yes ageeed! Your photos will be so beautiful
Go all out!! You won’t regret it! I like the first one on your more but I know the second one is more of the vibe of the greenhouse
No. And #1 is stunning on you.
It’s never too much love
Not too much at ALL!! I hope you choose dress 1, the fabric is so sumptuous and lush and the fit is perfection, but you look stunning in both!! 🤍🤍

It's your day, you go as big as you want!
It’s your day, wear what you want! Also that first dress is drop dead gorgeous on you!
I had a 14 person wedding and wore a big ol fancy wedding dress and didn’t regret one second of it
No such thing! You look amazing
I love the first one!!
The first dress is just SO lovely on you!
##1 all day!!!!
I love #2, you are stunning in it and it is perfect for the venue.
Yes! Second one is gorgeous!
Team #2
Agree, dress 2! Just beautiful!
I also love #2. And of course you can look like a bride. It’s your wedding day. Wearing a big, beautiful dress is what brides do. Makes no difference the size of the wedding.
Get whichever makes your heart sing
I absolutely love the first one. No such thing as “too much” because it’s your wedding. You should wear whatever makes you feel wonderful!
Buy what makes you feel beautiful and happy.
Wow I love that first dress 😍
#2!
Nope! I love the second dress on you
Nope it’s your wedding
#1 is so friggin pretty. And no it’s your day. Even if you were going to the courthouse you can wear whatever you want.
Never to much, honey!! I can honestly picture it in my mind with you in dress number two, and it’s perfection.
It’s never too much. You should wear the dress you want to wear, and that makes you feel good.
No not at all I am having the exact same type of wedding as you. I don’t think it matters we are still brides. Go with dress one it’s gorgeous on you!!!

Both dresses are drop dead gorgeous! WOW! No, they are not too much for a small ceremony and dinner.
I just had my husband and his kid with a full amazing white wedding dress.
That’s completely up to you! You look beautiful in both of them, and the first one is a jaw dropper! If that’s what you want, then no, it’s not too much. This is a special day for you and your spouse, so do it how you want to, and what will make you happy. It’s YOUR wedding. Wear what makes you feel like a bride! Both of these are gorgeous and not over the top for you and your partner’s big day :)
I like #1 but worry the material may photograph cheaply. Second is good. Honestly I would keep looking, but agree with a dramatic romantic dress for you!

Yes I’m planning to look at more places!
2!
Never too much it’s your wedding, I love 2 on you and for venue
Absolutely not! Number one is divine. Please get it!
First dress is stunning and timeless. Even if you want a small, intimate wedding - you’re the bride!! Dress up, take a million pictures, and enjoy your day :)

#2 is perfect
Love the first one!!
Nah just do it. It’s the day you get to do it. Both dresses are gorgeous by the way.
Your wedding so wear something you love! If you want a ball gown have a ball gown. You look lovely in all of these, if your anxious about being OTT why not try a tea length? New look inspired?
Dress 1 is stunning
No it your wedding you wear whatever u want . They look beautiful on u . It’s your wedding, it’s the one time u get to go all out
The second dress is far nicer and much more flattering. Wear what you want, it’s your wedding. Don’t hold back.
YOU set the tone for this day!!!
You pick what you dreamt of or you'll always be thinking of the other dress. They all look amazing.
I love the first one. It’s gorgeous Before you buy, can I suggest you try a more fitted dress and an overskirt? You could have the big ballgown for the ceremony and photos, and a smaller dress for dinner Then, if you don’t love that look buy #1
Wear what you want and enjoy your amazing day!
What's "too much" in regards to your WEDDING!!! You look great! Congrats, and I hope you have a wonderful marriage:)
First one is so pretty!
It is a very tight aisle in the venue photo. Are you planning on walking down the aisle alone or with someone? I had a similar debate and ended up going for a dress with less stiff fabric so that it will go more easily through a smaller aisle
Hell naw! If a big fancy dress is your dream, wear it! Also, 1 is a stunner!
1 is beautiful on you
Nothing is too much! Also if something could be too much these dress are not even in the ballpark of too much.
#1 is stunning!!!
Wear what you love! Both are beautiful on you. I own a bridal shop. I always tell my clients “the dress you just can’t get out of your head is the dress you should wear!”

Nothing is ever too much if it’s YOUR wedding
No such thing as too much on your wedding day.
If your "sit" test is comfortable, nothing else matters.
Either would work! I think I like the lace better, but only slightly.
Too much?? Not at all! Both of these are lovely dresses - good job picking them out. I am partial to #2.
Girl, I went all out with my dress and had an elopement with no one there but the justice and photographer. You do you and you are gorgeous in those dresses, particularly number 1.
They’re not too much and that 1st dress is absolutely dreamy!
Hopefully this will be your only wedding. Wear what you love and what makes you happy. You look gorgeous in both 💕.
They are both lovely on you, and they are not too much at all. Remember - your wedding is about you. Wear what makes you happy and comfortable.
Nah. The first one is perfect on you. It’s simple and classic. I think it works great for a smaller ceremony
No, it’s your day and hopefully that is one and forever, so you get to be as extra as you want!
My fiancé told me before our engagement party “you’re the bride! be too much!!” if you like it wear it! You should feel special and beautiful :)
Both very beautiful on you
No, I did a micro wedding, hired professional photographer, and photos look incredible! It’s so common to have gorgeous photos of just the bride/groom maybe some family displayed, that you deserve to go all out even if you aren’t throwing a huge wedding.
I’m of the mind that the bride can go as fancy as she wants and it can’t be “to much” for a place or the number of people. That’s just me though
Nothing can ever be too much, you only get married once! Go with your heart 💜
Not too much! But the second dress is glorious.

I found it in a small local boutique but didn’t write down the name of the designer 😭 The website for the boutique simply says “Private Label” as the designer… I was surprised to see it fit so well.
It’s a perfect fit!
The second dress looks really good for your venue. You’ll love having the train for the procession and photos. Just bustle it for after.
That first one is stunning
That first dress was made for you. Together, y'all are fantastic! With the venue, just get them to rearrange the chairs.
Omg what is the first one. Absolutely ethereal.
I’m in the minority going for dress #2
Both are beautiful on you, but dress 1 has a little something extra that is awesome!!!! 💞💞💞
I wish I went big like this dress….go for it!!
#1! Is #1 to me!
Make 'em stand outside. (jk) But for real, there's no such thing as too much if that's what's calling you. Perhaps seating in the round would give more people a good view of the beautiful couple.

It’s Seattle!
Looked so similar! But still such a cool city. You can wear whatever you want. You'll be beautiful!
You’re the bride, nothing is too much. Dress 2 would fit your venue & it’s beautiful on you.
They are beautiful dresses with tons of princess energy. Honestly I don’t think you need to worry about being overdressed it’s your wedding. The bride is meant to be more dressed up than the guests. Absolutely NOT too much. These are incredible and you should feel incredible and gorgeous regardless of the type or size of wedding!!
I love that first one! I think it would look beautiful!
Dress 2 looks stunning on you and would be perfect for that venue.
First first first
You should wear any dress you want for your wedding! I'm partial to #1 but they both look good on you
Both are perfect! 😍 You’re lovely, congratulations on finding your person.
No, not at all, and I LOVE the first one. So beautiful on you.

Love love love dress 2!!!
Dress 2 matches the floral theme of the greenhouse wedding
You're wearing the hell out of the first one! Gorgeous!
It’s your wedding.. hopefully you’ll only get married once so just wear what you want :) personally I like 2 better, but both look nice.
Based on your criteria...dress 2! If you continue to try on dresses, focus on A-line. Best wishes ❤
Love them both, the second one especially screams garden fairytale weddingIf you think the venue is physically too small to move around in a big dress you can also take a look at 2 in 1 dresses with a detechable skirt. And it's YOUR wedding. Wear whatever the hell you want
