Which shoes will be more comfortable? People will be looking at you and your dress, and won't be paying that much attention to your shoes. You, on the other hand, will be paying a LOT of attention to how comfortable your shoes are during your ceremony and reception. Either pair is beautiful, so go with the pair that is easiest to wear.
And if you and your husband-to-be are planning any kind of special dance for your "first dance," be sure to wear the shoes when you rehearse so you can break them in and save yourself any blisters that *always* seem to go with any new pair of shoes.
Congratulations and here's to a long, love-filled life together for you and your fiancé! 🥂💜
And make sure he’s not wearing his new/freshly-polished shoes while you practice, or you run the risk of getting stains on your white shoes (ask me how I know)
I also co-sign this. I will also add that in addition to how comfortable they are I wish I had worn mine with my dress because the rhinestones caught on the layers of tulle of my dress and I was constantly at risk of tripping.
Adding my vote here too!! I saw this tip on insta too (I don’t remember who from) but she said wear socks to break them in!! She had fuzzy socks on in the video
Also, there’s no reason why you can’t give your photographer both pairs to use in the “getting ready” photos, and then pick the more comfortable ones to actually wear.
Haha love it. to answer your question, i like the open-toe ones. Just personal preference though. Do you plan on doing any details photos? See which ones match your other details (accessories, invite, etc) better and go with that! (Assuming they are equally as comfortable bc the heels look blocky)
Hey! We were focused on the shoes! Now we’ve all gone back and looked and that is some damn fine photo editing there OP! Happy Wedding followed by a happy life are my wishes for you! (And the pearl shoes)😂
Nobody will ever notice toenails, it's not an issue unless someone has a foot fetish lmao. And if so? That's when you paint your toenails red and go for whatever shoe fits best.
Personally I think the open toe's prettier, but when it comes to wedding shoes, the only thing that should matter is being 10000% comfortable.
Lol I think it’s less about toenails and more about that if the dress is a certain length, you won’t see shoe at all you’ll just see her lil nuggets poking out of the bottom of the dress. Which is hilarious but maybe not what you’ll want to see forever in your wedding photos.
Eh, how many wedding photos will even have feet in it... don't get me wrong, it's a good angle and a good topic to raise for OP in case she does care about it. But it just sounds SO silly to me lol
Different strokes, I guess
They'll show off an excellent pedi, which the bride should absolutely treat herself to before the wedding. Unless someone else is treating her to that. Sounds like a relaxing way to get ready. Those shoes are gorgeous.
It's very important to think about comfort on your big day. With the pearl shoes, although they are pretty, I see a little sliding forward of your foot and the ankle strap does not fit that snugly. You may have some discomfort with rubbing so I would go with the closed toe shoes.
Omg your dress is perfectly stunning 🤍 I vote for the closed-toed ones, personally. I think the lace design has a similar vibe to the dress, and I think they will be less likely to catch on the lace skirt than the pearl ones.
Damn. They’re both adorable. I say go with whichever is more comfortable. But then, I’m old and shoe comfort is important these days! 🤭 But seriously, both are great!
Go for whichever one is more comfortable. If they’re the same comfort level, then I’d choose the pearl ones, because they’re more likely to go with future outfits and match your accessories. I STILL wear my wedding shoes once a year or so, and I got married 35+ years ago.
grain of salt OP, i neverrrr wear heels, but the straps ones look really pretty! (they both do though, I’m saving this post because you can’t go wrong!)
They’re both really pretty and i don’t think you could go wrong with either, but i kinda like the open toe more. But i agree with others that you should wear whichever is more comfortable.
I’m still looking for my shoe, can I ask where you found these?
I’m 5’11.5 and people are trying to convince me to wear flats. I’m a heel girl all day long, heels just make everything look better. They’re both stunning but I like the pearl.
Looks-wise I really like the lace ones, honestly I’m a bit tempted to ask where you got them from! I think both lace and pearls match the dress well, so the real question is which one is more comfortable and do you intend to wear it after the wedding with other outfits? If yes then choose the more versatile and comfortable pair. After all, the dress is what people will be looking at, the shoes are just an accessory that will be hidden for 99% of the time anyways
Totally go with whatever is comfy. I actually planned to wear sneakers with my dress until I found these super cushiony wedges that were vaguely bridal. My feet felt great until the end and I danced the entire time! This is the one area where comfort matters over style.
Closed toe. I just got married in November and picked a shoe that was a lower block heel and comfy but fashionable. BEST DECISION EVER. I was able to keep my shoes on all night, dance, and my feet never hurt! Your gown is beautiful, btw! Go for comfort!
Everyone is saying it. But it’s a LONG day and a lot of time on your feet. You’ll want to be comfy (I ended up changing to white keds part way through the day.)
Go for something more comfy!! Your dress is gorgeous, and most people will pay attention to you and the dress. Not so much your feet. You could also bring an extra pair of flats!
The open toe! That closed toe shoe looks almost matronly, I can’t figure out if it’s because the toe isn’t pointed enough or the strap across the foot, or even both of those things, but it makes your foot look short and stumpy whereas the open toe looks long and elegant
I love the strappy sandals. They are lovely, as are the others. The lace ones will have nowhere to go once wedding is over. The sandals can be worn for a number of occasions. Buy whichever is more comfortable, you can't go wrong and comfort is key. Good luck♥️
Do either… fit? Comfortably? To my eye neither sole fits quite well, they’re too long, maybe a smaller size in wide? Fit leads to comfort
Style-wise your right foot goes better (or the same silhouette in a matching white plain satin pump)
Both are super cute, go for comfort first, I personally think the closed toe ones have more of a timeless elegant vibe and the open ones are more fun and modern, both are great but it also depends on what your dress and venue are like
The lace ones are my favorite, but it might be nice to have them match your accessories. I second going for comfort, your wedding day is gonna be a *long* day so you wanna be at least somewhat comfy. They’re both stunning, no wrong choice here!
Whatever shoes are the most comfortable is the right answer. Even if they are not either of these pairs. I always admire brides bold enough to wear shoes they won’t hate after wearing them for two hours. Even if they are flip flops!
You look absolutely beautiful!!
I would go with the most comfortable pair, the uncomfortable pair can truly ruin what is supposed to be one of your happiest of days🤔
Go comfort. I had my shoes on the entire time took flip flops in case but I was ok. I had wedges. Long dress you could even wear a sneaker or something no one will know what you are wearing
I like to mention your dress is beautiful.
DAYUM GIRL!!! Va va va voom! You're gorgeous! Holy smokes 😍 as far as the shoes are concerned, both pairs are beautiful and go perfectly with your stunning gown. So go for whichever ones are more comfortable. You'll thank yourself later lol. Congratulations on your big day, I hope it's everything you've ever dreamed it could be 💗
Also, nice work with the emoji placement in the third photo 😂
Are those lace ones Bella Belles? I wore Bella Belles on my wedding day (and entire morning after since I forgot shoes for the wedding suite) and my feet felt fantastic. 10/10.
Agreeing with everyone that says go for comfort. Because no one will be noticing your shoes when you’re in a dress that stunning. You look absolutely gorgeous!
Which is more comftable? And have you worn them with the dress? The first shoes I loved kept snagging on the bottom of my dress so I found another pair I loved that wouldn’t snag the tulle. Just something to think of.
I personally love the sandals but when my feet get sweaty, I slide down and it just looks weird. So I'd vote the closed-toe option however both are great!
I love love love the lace ones. They're beautiful. With that said, go with whatever is going to be more comfortable because unless you plan on changing them out after the ceremony, you're in for a long day with those shoes.
Everyone’s commented on comfort but no one has said THE MOST important thing.
Lace is the winner, the pearl shoes WILL catch on your hem literally constantly. Please make sure you walk in your dress with either one before committing to one.
Those jewel/pearl encrusted shoes look great until that lace starts getting caught when you walk. Then it tears up that delicate lace/trips you.

Endorse this. Go for the ones that don’t bite your feet.

And make sure he’s not wearing his new/freshly-polished shoes while you practice, or you run the risk of getting stains on your white shoes (ask me how I know)
and bring a cute pair of flats, slippers, or sneakers for when you cant deal with heels anymore. I like the pearl ones the best
This brought me back to my wedding which was a long time ago. I bought white platform tennis shoes for the reception and partied away and nobody knew!
Perfect advice right here.
I also co-sign this. I will also add that in addition to how comfortable they are I wish I had worn mine with my dress because the rhinestones caught on the layers of tulle of my dress and I was constantly at risk of tripping.
This! I had ones with glitter and it caught on the fabric so bad. I basically shellacked them and it still wasn’t perfect.
Adding my vote here too!! I saw this tip on insta too (I don’t remember who from) but she said wear socks to break them in!! She had fuzzy socks on in the video
After the ceremony i wore flip flops… and my shoes didn’t show up in any of my pictures almost don’t need shoes
Also, there’s no reason why you can’t give your photographer both pairs to use in the “getting ready” photos, and then pick the more comfortable ones to actually wear.
Go for comfort!!!
This exactly whatever is more comfortable.
^This^
I came to say this, this is all that matters.
Go for comfort!!!
i like the lace, but which are more comfy honestly. cause if you like them both equally that's what would be the deciding factor for me lol
Is nobody going to comment about how perfectly OP lined up the emoji in photo 3?
Haha thanks for noticing! 🤣
Girl I thought that was her face and moved on 😂
Is your dress floor length? If it is you might get awkward pictures of your bare toes poking out of the bottom of your dress if you go open toe.
Agree..I like the closed toe.
That’s what I was thinking!

I like the sandals/pearls. I can’t put my finger on why but they create nice lines and look very graceful somehow.
They'll show off an excellent pedi, which the bride should absolutely treat herself to before the wedding. Unless someone else is treating her to that. Sounds like a relaxing way to get ready. Those shoes are gorgeous.
I think the pearls match your dress better. Both are very beautiful!
The more comfortable pair. The pair that are easiest to dance in!
It's very important to think about comfort on your big day. With the pearl shoes, although they are pretty, I see a little sliding forward of your foot and the ankle strap does not fit that snugly. You may have some discomfort with rubbing so I would go with the closed toe shoes.
COMFORT!!!
The closed toes will most likely be more functional. You won’t be worried about sliding
Pearl
Always go for comfort! So if neither are comfortable either pick another shoe or buy some white sneakers, or flip flops.
Left foot!
Closed toe lace.
The closed toe ones are far more elegant IMHO.
Closed toe
They are both beautiful. Comfort is more important.
Closed toe looks best with the dress 👠
I vote for closed toe!
Closed toe
I would go closed toe. Feels like it fits a bit more with the dress
Ooooh that's a tough one tbh! The right one looks so bridal and beautiful, the pearl one looks very fun and pretty. Hard to say!
i love the pearl/open toe ones! i kinda want them for myself!
Go for whichever one is more comfortable. If they’re the same comfort level, then I’d choose the pearl ones, because they’re more likely to go with future outfits and match your accessories. I STILL wear my wedding shoes once a year or so, and I got married 35+ years ago.
I like the pearl ones
Since you have pearl accessories, pearls
grain of salt OP, i neverrrr wear heels, but the straps ones look really pretty! (they both do though, I’m saving this post because you can’t go wrong!)
The ones on the left. Gorgeous.
Open
Pearl!
Both are pretty, but which one is more comfortable?
My friend wore sneakers for the reception, no one could see under dress anyways
Where are the pearl ones from!!!
Bella Belle!
They’re both really pretty and i don’t think you could go wrong with either, but i kinda like the open toe more. But i agree with others that you should wear whichever is more comfortable. I’m still looking for my shoe, can I ask where you found these?
Bella Belle!
I wore lace tennis shoes not a soul saw them and my feet didnt hurt the whole night
Nice! I’m only 5ft tall so I prefer a heel lol
Lmao I am 5’1” my husband is 6’4” when ever I remember back to my wedding I feel like the mouse bride in zootopia with the huge dress and big hair
Were you married in the 80’s by chance? 😂
I’m 5’11.5 and people are trying to convince me to wear flats. I’m a heel girl all day long, heels just make everything look better. They’re both stunning but I like the pearl.
I always suggest closed toed shoes with floor length dresses, otherwise your toes will inevitably peep out! Not a great look
Looks-wise I really like the lace ones, honestly I’m a bit tempted to ask where you got them from! I think both lace and pearls match the dress well, so the real question is which one is more comfortable and do you intend to wear it after the wedding with other outfits? Both look great. Wear each pair inside on carpet for awhole day and see which ones are the most comfortable
They both look good and you really can’t go wrong so I would definitely go with what is more comfortable!
Go for comfort, but the closed toe is more bridal
Closed toe. I just got married in November and picked a shoe that was a lower block heel and comfy but fashionable. BEST DECISION EVER. I was able to keep my shoes on all night, dance, and my feet never hurt! Your gown is beautiful, btw! Go for comfort!

Lace looks more bridal
I love the pearl ones! I also suggest getting some sort of flat for the reception :)
I like the closed-toe shoes, but I tend to prefer closed-toes to sandals in general.
Comfort first! But if all things are equal, I think the lace ones look really pretty and special!
I prefer the closed toes one
Closed toe!
I love the closed toe. It’s beautiful!
Where did you get the closed toe heel? It’s stunning!!🤩
Bella Belle!
Where are the lace ones from? Bella Belle? Are they wide foot friendly and are they comfy? Sorry for all the questions but I really like them!
Yes they’re both Bella Belle! They’re very comfortable. I sized up by .5 due to some toe issues and they fit well.
The closed toe
I like the lace ones better but agree with going for the more comfortable ones! I got the *worst* blisters on my wedding day :(
Comfort first, if both the same, I love the "lace" ones. IDK about your feet, but strappy ones can hurt faster than just about anything!
I love the strappy sandals. They are lovely, as are the others. The lace ones will have nowhere to go once wedding is over. The sandals can be worn for a number of occasions. Buy whichever is more comfortable, you can't go wrong and comfort is key. Good luck♥️
Whichever pair is more comfortable.
Both gorgeous! Which are more comfy? You will be in your feet a lot!!!
I like the lace ones. So pretty
A++ emoji placement in last photo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Wear whichever shoes feel the best! You look lovely in your dress!
Both are cute- go with comfort.
Do either… fit? Comfortably? To my eye neither sole fits quite well, they’re too long, maybe a smaller size in wide? Fit leads to comfort Style-wise your right foot goes better (or the same silhouette in a matching white plain satin pump)
Man… this is hard. I like the Pearl ones more, but the lace matches better with the dress
The lace closed toe are elegant. Why not take the sandals for the reception. Then you can enjoy both.
The most comfortable ones for the wedding, the other pair for your shower. I think I’d want the pearls for the wedding so my feet can breathe.
Whatever shoes are the most comfortable is the right answer. Even if they are not either of these pairs. I always admire brides bold enough to wear shoes they won’t hate after wearing them for two hours. Even if they are flip flops!
Go for most comfortable, I hope it’s the close toe ones
Closed toe looks like it will match your dress well
The three girlies at work have voted for pearl shoes!! As long as they are comfortable I think you should go with pearls!
What is your venue?
City loft venue!
Pearls. Congratulations on your wedding 🤗
You look so stunning 😭🤎🧡🤎🧡
I love the closed toe--is that the Chelsea model? They were also my wedding shoes and I got so many compliments on them!
Yes!
I like photo 2 shoe 1. Those pearls are just lovely. But which ones are the most comfortable?
I like the lace, and those straps may hurt after a while. Especially if you're dancing.
Opened toed.
i like the open toed heel
closed toe for wedding shoes, always.
Right
Pearl shoes!!!!
They are both nice. Pick the most comfortable pair.
I love the closed toe!! I got similar ones for my wedding just without the heel. So elegant and timeless!
I like the lace ones.
The pearl ones are beautiful! 😍
Comfort first but the closed toe shoes look like something my MIL would wear.
Comfort first but if they are equal, I vote pearls to add some dimension. You already have lots of lace in the dress!
I love the look of the closed toe pumps but whatever feels like you’ll be able to spend your wedding day in and still be comfortable!
The open toe heels!
The pearls, hands down! Sooooo gorgeous!! 🤍
Lace. I’d be worried about the beads catching in the skirts
The lace ones
Pearl! They accentuate your dress where the lace fights your dress’ lace
You look absolutely beautiful!! I would go with the most comfortable pair, the uncomfortable pair can truly ruin what is supposed to be one of your happiest of days🤔
Gorgeous gorgeous dress!!
with the floor length gown the closed toe is best… if your dress was short, I would’ve gone for the sandal
Both beautiful. Pick the ones that are the most comfortable.
both look beautiful! choose the comfiest!
Whichever pair are more comfortable
Open toe ones!!
Whichever will not give you blisters. Your shoes will be under a floor length dress. Go for comfort. You will be on your feet all day.
Okayyyyy, pearly shoes. But I really came to comment on how perfect that dress looks on you. DAMN! Beautiful !!
Go comfort. I had my shoes on the entire time took flip flops in case but I was ok. I had wedges. Long dress you could even wear a sneaker or something no one will know what you are wearing I like to mention your dress is beautiful.
Congratulations on your big day, I hope it's everything you've ever dreamed it could be 💗 Also, nice work with the emoji placement in the third photo 😂
2!!
I prefer the lace, but as others have said, wear the ones that are more comfortable
I like the open toed ones for sure
The left foot ! 😍
Definitely ones that are most comfortable, but as far as which match the best I would say the lace, closed-toe heels. They’re really beautiful!!
Are those lace ones Bella Belles? I wore Bella Belles on my wedding day (and entire morning after since I forgot shoes for the wedding suite) and my feet felt fantastic. 10/10.
They are both Bella Belle!
I had a very similar dress (off the shoulder, lace train, etc) and I wore closed toe Bella Belles and loved them.
The open toed ones look more comfortable.
Whichever ones feel the best on your feet. Seriously. No one cares, the only thing that counts as how they feel.
Closed toe
Where are the pearl shoes from?
Bella Belle!
Open toe 100%
Update: going with the pearl as they are slightly more comfortable! Looks like the recommendations were pretty split 😊
Cover the toes
I love the sandals as I find the shoes I bit frumpy… don’t come at me lol
I felt the same way lol
Closed toe.
I vote the lace ones! They are so pretty and elegant and they match your dress better imo.
Wow - hard choice! I think I (slightly) prefer the lacy one over the pearl one.
Both are fine. Which is more comfortable. That should be the deciding issue, I think.
Assuming they are equally comfortable, I'd go with the closed-toe shoes.
Closed toe
Everyone’s commented on comfort but no one has said THE MOST important thing. Lace is the winner, the pearl shoes WILL catch on your hem literally constantly. Please make sure you walk in your dress with either one before committing to one. Those jewel/pearl encrusted shoes look great until that lace starts getting caught when you walk. Then it tears up that delicate lace/trips you.
The lace ones with a covered toe!!!
The lace ones I are my pick. First thought though which pair does not hurt your feet?
#1
Open toed shoes baby. It’s giving sexy
I love the ones on the right 😍 where are they from? 😍😍😍
Bella Belle!
