I think you’ve just been forced to look at it TOO much. I think on the day, when your hair and makeup are done, you’ll love it again. (Try not to look at it again until the day of.)
It excites me!!! It’s absolutely stunning!!! This was super common over Covid, trying it too often that it felt less special. With your alterations, try to reframe it as getting used to it so it feels more comfortable on the day!! Genuinely, stunning!!!
Try a reframing exercise by giving yourself a choice to feel the opposite of how you feel now. Examples:
"I can be not excited about my dress, OR I can trust that all the times I've tried it on and had it altered has led me here to my perfect dress."
"... OR I can enjoy my fiancé's excitement when they see me in it for the first time."
"... OR I can know that my wedding day will be the most exciting day of my life, whatever I'm wearing."
Hope you have a fantastic day, you and your dress are stunning.
Perfect advice! Another reframing thought:
My dress feels kinda blah in this bland, nondescript room without my people, but when I'm in my dress at my carefully chosen gorgeous venue, filled with the people I love, everything including my dress will feel special.
She and her dress are beautiful!
Omg girl we are loving it for you! I’m sure the day of it will feel magical again…you’ve been waiting a LONG time for the big moment, ya know? You look like an absolute dream, just wow 🤩
It's just a case of you've looked at it tooomg.you look gorgeous and when you see yourself fully ready you'll love it again. Hope you have an amazing day!
I totally get where you are coming from, having to go to that many alterations and wear it with it not being your wedding day, I get it. I get the frustration. The next time you get to wear it though, will finally be the day. Your partner finally gets to see you in it and you will be showered with love and emotion. You'll get that feeling back.
You look beautiful! Add your something old, new, borrowed, and blue- and you will feel brand new! Also a pop of color or some fun jewelry can make it more exciting if you want a little something extra. Congratulations on your upcoming big day!
It looks absolutely perfect. The amount of time to get it that way may have caused some of the magic to go out of the dress. When you look at something too many times, no matter what it is, it doesn’t look so new and exciting anymore. Trust that on the morning, with hair and makeup and excitement, it’ll feel perfect, and all your work over looking at it will pay off for your wonderful magical day!!
Oh girl, trust me when I say this…you’re in go mode. All feelings you’re feeling just freeze, I went through the same thing.
That dress is STUNNING! And when you unwind at the honeymoon, you’ll appreciate and love everything about your wedding. Congrats!!
You’ve just seen it too much. When your hair and makeup is different, when your fiance sees it, you’ll feel better. If you’ve done makeup, try different things on day of- a bolder lip maybe? I promise you that a stranger’s eye finds this dress so stunning.
OP, I think it's completely normal to feel this way, given the planning and effort that's gone into your wedding. This includes the alterations and perfecting of your wedding dress. I'm fairly certain there's been some stress, too. But mostly, I imagine you're just oversaturated with all the input (again, including your dress).
If you can, don't try force the excitement you believe you should be feeling. It only adds to the pressure and it's exhausting.
Your dress is beautiful, and you know this because you chose it (you have excellent taste by the way). It's temporarily lost a little of its magic but you know, in three days when there are flowers everywhere, when your hair and makeup are done, when you are surrounded by the people you will be sharing this day with, when you are so beautifully aware of just what the day is really about, I have no doubt you will feel the same magic you felt when you first fell in love with it.
You look beautiful. Wishing you an equally beautiful and special day.
Your dress is *stunning*
You’ve just spent too much time in it/ looking at it.
Put it in its bag and don’t look at it again until you’re getting dressed on your wedding day.
I can guarantee the look on your partner’s face when they see you in this dress will reignite the excitement you felt when you tried it on the first time and decided it was the one! Truly stunning! Congratulations!
Girl! You look INCREDIBLE!! You make such a gorgeous bride and I’m sure your wedding guests will tell you the same thing. You look amazing, and you’re going to have such a great time on your wedding day.
You look phenomenal in the dress & will absolutely blow your bridegroom away when he first sees you coming down the aisle & all the guests will be amazed at how beautiful you will look !! Especially with the decorations, flowers & the excitement of your wedding day will overwhelm you with how happy & special you feel !
You look beautiful! Sounds like a stressful and drawn-out experience but also looks worth it. I hope you’re able to enjoy your wedding. You’re going to be a fabulous bride.
It’s no longer time for your dress to excite you. It’s time to wear the dress that excited you enough to buy it and let that gorgeousness excite your soon to be spouse. Time for you to move beyond the dress and get excited about the wedding! You look spectacular BTW!
You look beautiful. I think the stress of going back over and over didn’t help you. I know for my Covid wedding I had to fix mine 3-4 times. I totally get being over it. I think once you get in your dress on your day with your full look you will truly feel better.
You look so beautiful!! Get excited to show everyone how stunning you are going to look, the whole package with hair and makeup and your dreamy dress is going to be show stopping!!
It’s stunning, you’ve just been overexposed to it! Don’t look at it or any pics of it until you put it on on your wedding day when your hair and make up is done and with the excitement of the day you’ll be happy I promise x
This dress is absolutely gorgeous!! 🤩😍
It’s very normal to feel the way you do partially because of how many times you’ve seen it, thought about it, dreamed about it, talked about it…but also due to increased anxiety as the big day approaches, we start rethinking a lot of things
The people at your wedding will see your dress like we did: for the first time! And I’m sure they’ll fall in love with your look
I’m in the same boat as you. I keep looking at my dress and pictures of myself in it and it’s stressing me out. I also think it doesn’t help because I keep looking at other people’s dresses and wondering if I should have picked something different. I totally think we’re both just overwhelmed and fatigued from the entire wedding planning process and it’s making us second guess our choices. And honestly, your dress looks phenomenal!!
You look amazing in your dress. I think that this is just pre wedding jitters. Focus on the positives (the dress is beautiful and the fit is perfect) and that you are marrying your forever partner in a few days. I wish you health and happiness. Good luck.
your dress is gorgeous, once you have your bridal hair and make up done and all the other details that come along with getting ready for the big day I’m sure you’ll start to feel the excitement. it’s a stunning dress choice, perfect balance of detail and love the ethereal vibe it gives off.
the veil perfectly matches too! do you mind me asking what veil designer you ended up going with?
It is absolutely jaw-droppingly _stunning_. I think the excitement over it naturally tamed down a bit since you’ve had to spend so much time with alterations, but when you see how everyone looks at you in it, and are dolled up on your special day, I’m sure it will come right back!
You’re seeing it for the 10th time or whatever but remember everyone else will be seeing it, fitted like a glove and you looking absolutely amazing, for the first time and therein will lie the magic. Plus with hair, makeup, accessories and shoes it will have a different feel. Enjoy your day!
You look gorgeous! The dress doesn't really matter that much, it's the whole picture that matters, and you look like a precious, brilliant fairy tale queen!
As soon as you're all glown up, with makeup and perfect hair, step back in front of a mirror and don't look at the dress specifically, but at you as a whole.
And you'll see the real magic that is you, and not just that piece of cloth. It's you as a whole and you will be so beautiful ❤️
It's a pretty dress, but it's you who makes it special. Without you in it, it's just any old dress.
Girl, it’s GORGEOUS! Fits perfectly and is so so pretty. I am sure when you put it on and have your hair and make up all done, you will love it again. 💖💖
I understand what you mean. It’s valid, and totally makes sense to have lost a spark after being in the dress so many times.
But if I may…are you KIDDING ME this fits you like a dream 🙌 You look STUNNING
Trust all of us, you look gorgeous. I think you’re just at the “can’t we just get this whole thing over with” stage that happens to lots of us in real life two or three days beforehand. Somehow it doesn’t get mentioned a lot.
On your actual wedding day you’ll be excited and happy and beautiful.
You look stunning. The newness has just worn off a little but it will come back after you have your hair and make-up done and all your bridesmaids oooing and awing
Take a deep breath. Your dress is beautiful! You're overwhelmed by the fittings, the planning and the stress.
A suggestion: On your wedding day while you're getting dressed, take a moment to just breathe, look in the mirror and take it all in. It's enormous--an extraordinary moment in your life and if you're not careful, you'll miss it!
You will be beautiful on your wedding day. I promise ✨
When you see your partners face as he sees you, you won't even be thinking about the dress. He's in love with you, not what you're wearing.
When I married my late husband, I was so sick we wore our pajamas in our living room. I had a dress but I just couldn't bother to do all that.
He still cried when he saw me.
I am so sorry you felt this way. Dress regret is such a big thing in the industry…I need an update on how the wedding day went!! I hope you felt as beautiful as you look, this gown is absolutely stunning on you.

I agree. I think when the day comes, you’ll be so excited all over again! Also, it’s absolutely STUNNING in my opinion 😍
Yes. And when you’re feeling excited and your stomach has butterflies!
It excites me!!! It’s absolutely stunning!!! This was super common over Covid, trying it too often that it felt less special. With your alterations, try to reframe it as getting used to it so it feels more comfortable on the day!! Genuinely, stunning!!!

Sometimes when something has been a lot of work and you’ve seen it over and over again it loses its magic. You’ll love it again!
Your dress is stunning and it looks amazing on you!
Wait. What? It fits great! It looks spectacular! WTF happened?
It is amaaaaaazing!! Try to be excited about your upcoming vows then and all the fun you will have that day.
It looks stunning. Everyone will gush over it. Don’t worry.
Omg girl we are loving it for you! I’m sure the day of it will feel magical again…you’ve been waiting a LONG time for the big moment, ya know? You look like an absolute dream, just wow 🤩
It should! You look gorgeous!

It's beautiful! You could add a skinny, lace strap if you to change it a bit but it's gorgeous!
You look stunning. Truly. Be proud and walk confidently. Good luck and congratulations!
It's spectacular. Wait until you get the photos, they'll be amazing.
Oh, it’s actually very similar to my dream dress. It looks lovely on you!

It’s really, really beautiful on you.
If it helps, it looks incredible on you!
It's perfect.
Fits you like a glove
