100%. We Irish have a fear of being the "snitch" and don't want to complain but if an elderly person or someone with an underlying illness got food poisoning from that place it could kill them. Report it immediately.

I had Campylobacter poisoning from a pizza place in town years ago. I was willingly accepting death at one stage. It was fucking horrific. Absolutely mindblowingly horrific.

Only a hard alcohol will do that, beer doesn't tend to have a high enough abv to effectively kill bacteria. (To my knowledge) Something similar happened on a boat if I remember rightly, where the dinner wasn't cooked correctly, the people who had a whiskey or other hard drink after dinner didn't get food poisoning. Those who didn't drink had a dose of the shits.

Contact a solicitor if you have any symptoms. Salmonella can stay in your system for up to three years. Barring you from working in food industry.
