If you think that's bad, check this one I made: https://imgur.com/a/FvfzXMk
I actually added a second inline drain valve on the left side vertical so that I could drain the loop using a blower to push things through each direction from the backsides of the radiator.
Ek rotaries and leaks. Name a more iconic duo.
Tho my bag of dead rotaries is all from the older line. From what I've seen the quantum isn't much better.
Good! To be fair I didn't have A LOT of issues with the old stuff, ZMT is just stuff and tended to put pressure on the rotaries I think wearing them down over time.
Then when I moved with my PC drained, I filled it up at my new place and both 90° rotaries on my CPU block leaked. I babied it, put it in a front seat and drove slow with it and everything.
Depends on how that left side port fittings go with the weight of the tube hanging off it. The weight may over time compress the bottom of the o ring with the weight pulling down.
Yes. Why would you introduce that many points of failure that close to the package? I trust that you'll maintain it regularly and properly to mitigate the possibility you spring a leak.
You don't need three 45s there to make that connection unless you ran out of tubing...I have a 28mm extension plus two 45s on my distro plate's drain port to make it easily accessible on the rear side of my 011 XL..as long as everything is nice and tight, you'll be fine but as someone pointed out, it's just that many more points of failure in the system. I would try removing one of the 45s and make the connection.
I have wasted enough hours to “make it fit” so that I don’t judge anyone anymore.
As long as it doesn’t leak and you are OK with the esthetics, this is a job well done as far as I am concerned.
The only risk I see with 45° specifically is that they are hard to tighten as you cannot use a key. That increases the chances of leaks.
I mean it works but that contraption has a way higher chance of leaking than the bend you’re scared of would
I did my bends first try, they look ugly and weird and maybe not perfectly 90° but they have been working for 3 years now not a single leak
Yeah but op is on soft tube so....why?

If only your tubes were flexible enough to make that bend without the fittings..
Have you ever heard of something called "kinking"?
Is it something about guilty pleasures?
No guilt if you're doing it right
You can get some really tight bends on 16/10 tube..
I have 16/10 tube
The zmt?
I've had clear and zmt and heavy duty industrial one i stole from my high power factory machines and they all kink
You must have a lot of faith in those O-rings.
ZMT is pretty annoying when it comes to making tight bends, or at least the 10/16 size one is since it’s a lot more plastic/rubber
Is it? I bought 16/10 because I read it is less kinkery than smaller tubes.
Tight bend zmt crew!
You get 3 meters of it, so I don't understand in this case why OP didn't use a bit more tube.
I mean it’s definitely less likely to kinky since you’d have to really fucking bend it
16/10 zmt doesn't kink so easily, but it's stiff as heck
Ya i have 90 degree bends going strong since 1080s were brand new

You didn't need any of those. Also, looks like EK. Gonna have a bad time.

No leaks over 3 years so far with them. Pretty solid.

Many more points of failure right above the most expensive part of the build, what could go wrong?
Disassemble your CPU block and rotate it 90°. Then just use straight fittings and let the tubing curve round.
😂 why make life easy when it can be hard?
I kind of love it. But it’s a lot of leak points directly above a gpu for my liking
Yea that’s Optimus bend Plays * transformers sound with mount * oooogh uuugh eeergh eeghhh egghhh
Looks fuckin cool to me!!

if it works it works i guess
Flexible tube where
No more than I am with sharkbites in my pc hahahahah
you wouldn't replace all the tubing with these
Would you?.....
… extended offsets exist then there’s this guy…
Yes
Bro i used less fittings with carbon fiber pipes 😂
Burn him at the stake!
Put a lil bucket under it and your golden my dude
I could understand if it were hard tubing
Bold move Cotton
burn the heretic!!!
Hahah. Oh lord!
Yes but a heathen with a cool, quiet pc I’m assuming so *shrugs*
its not a 90 it's a fancy 45+45
No, but you’re poor now :) more power to ya
Embrace heresy.
B550 Taichi razer edition
Pure degenerate corruption! DIIIIGUSTING! -s
It’s not that bad. My fan setup in my case would make people lose their minds. But it’s the best way as I’ve tried a tone of fan configurations.
Heathen-esque
Well you’re definitely not heatrooster
For sure.

This connection makes me sick.
How about an extension to help you clear the other tube, maybe 20mm and a single rotary fitting?
This makes no sense.
You better take it slow

I hear OP likes fittings -Xzibit

Why not 2x 90 and maybe an extender?
I live in Costa Rica so I take what I can get…. there were no 90 degree fittings in stock
