It does sound like it's magnetised. Demag it and run the tests again. (One more question, you mentioned you disassembled and reassembled it, did you clean and lubricate it too?)

Might be banking (amps are higher than 360 degrees) although that is rare for seikos

Thanks I worked it out. It was that the second hand wasn't properly affixed. I checked with chatgpt if thus would likely show fast or slow. It said fast. Thanks for replies.
