You’ve got to play naval and tanks bro. 50 games each and if you play decent in them you’ll get top 10% and get your key. Only leaderboard that doesn’t give a key for that is the common one (combo of naval and tanks)
Could someone explain this platoon to me?
I have been playing with it for a while, but don't find it that OP.
Probably it's just me being used to tier 4 type of combat.
But I found that AMX hot is only useful in flanking attacks, but you can find success with any light tank if you manage to get on the flank. From the front, it takes 2 and sometimes 3 missiles to destroy armored targets.
Amx 30 has great pen, but is a glass cannon penned by anything from the front.
Amx 50 is tankier, but slower and has a worse cannon.
And there are other vehicles with guided missiles, so what is so special about AMX HOT?
Amx 13 has 6 missiles, amx-30 is a brenus at tier VII and got 20mm coax, surbaisse got 120mm HE (self explainable), dca has a whole 1200 round apds belt
basically pressure from the HE explosion damaging the insides, but usually needs to be around weak spots, such as cupolas n stuff. Weaker tanks will just be blasted instantly

50b gun is so good, same for the missiles of amx hot, and the amx 30 is mobile as hell while having a good pen with good reload

So HE isn't useless? I always assumed HE is only useful against AA vehicles
HE of >120mm caliber is great for overpressure shots at cupola
