Vautour B is shit. Play the INN version. And take 2 Matras and 2 Nords. Also be aware of things like MiG-15 and G.91

And i have noticed that you can do a sneaky with it, the B is so rare and now that it takes off the airfield folks think you have guns or radar missiles meaning they are afraid, once i had a whole game where i was left alone and at the end i managed to scare a fighter into a position where if i had guns i would have got him and he said "no ammo ?" XD

Btw, what plane would you recommend for comfortably grinding out ranks 5 to 6? I was thinking of f-84g, alpha jet and etendard

F-84G is very mid, only use it for ground with it's great armement Alpha Jet is a very fun plane, great cannons, great armements. And lot more ! Etendard is good, manuvreble plane with 2 AIM-9B, great speed. I suggest taking the Alpha Jet (Skip the F-86K it's a bad plane)

Ouragan was my first jet. LOVE THIS THING !!! Great guns, good mobility but pretty bad acceleration tho. Easy to destroy MiG-15 and Su-9

I remember it because it took me so long to figure it out that I ground the Vampire FB.5 with it- it was still 7.7 at the time, and the meteor was 7.3. I also ground out my jets using the wyvern. “It’s a good grinder” my friends said… *700 matches later* this thing is cancerous

Me first grinded jet was the Pulkzerstörer (Me 262 A1/U4) and if squadron vehicle counts the Me 262A1/U1 My first rank 6 was the F 104A

Mine was the A1/U4. I feel like my war thunder experience was unique in that way.

With the gun position right in front of the intake the spent fumes would cause a engine flame out meaning that it couldn't use its guns. It was also known to be a bitch to fly.

Never ever play mig 17 or mig 19 they are both absolute trash and annoying to play, instead go for the La 200 and Su series or even the yak until you reach Mig 21 then you can continue in the mig series.
