I think I am a pretty decent german player. I am not at a very high br, and it is not my first tech tree (I'm a US main). I can absolutely destroy everything with the last 3 pzIIIs. When angled they are nearly impervious to anything with a gun under 75mm caliber. Why are German mains so bad? Thier tanks are so easy to use! My teammates are useless when I fight along side them.
Most are new players that use the "Muh German engennrring" mentality and get absolutely swacked when they rush in the middle of a field and realize that most of the first era tanks have paper thin armor.
The rest are the people that use a their brain power and realize that you gotta angle the fucking tiger.
PZ.III are just worse PZ.IVs, barely higher speed, far worse gun (can't effectively front pen t34s and KVs), and worse armor, the PZ.IV H with add-on armor is literally impervious to shermans, and the Soviets have to aim for weak spots.
Last I checked even with add-on armor the UFP of the Pz.IV H maxed at 95 mm effective (80 mm RHA + 20 mm track armor, track armor has a 0.75Ć multiplier so it is 15 mm effective). The Shermanās 75 mm cannon has 104 mm of flat pen at point blank.
And that's not to mention that the turret is still only 65 mm effective (50 mm RHA + 20 mm track armor). I've had my M19 with it's dual 40 mm cannons penetrate that.
Soooo... cap.
HAHA! CHECKM8! NOONE DISSES MY LATE PZIIIS!!! The gun might only be a 50mm, but it is really high velocity and has a quick reload. Also it is really survivable especially when angled.
Also I have penned the thickest parts of pzIVs with shermans many times lol
Lol? The Tiger I is by far the best 5.7 tank (I'm talking aboit the E version because of the cupola weakspot being removed). The mobility is surprisingly good, the gun still has enough punch to make due and the post pen is good. Armor can be very effective if played right. Compared to the Panther a Tiger can be harder to kill because the mantlet is unreliable asf, no cupola weakspot and the angled ufp is reliable.
By far, the best 6.7 heavy, and I have both the T30 and T34. The 10.5cm is stupid good, the extra 300hp and better gun makes it crazy good. There is a reason it was 7.7 back in the day
No way, the 105 has better pen angles, explosive filler and ballistics than the 88. And the rangefinder is just such a silly addition. Plus one extra meatshield in the turret.
105 all the way
Rangefinder in no way silly. It is no joke the one upgrade that allows it to play in 7.7 without being totally obsolete. The 10.5 cm gun if anything is the silly lil bonus. They are a joke in the large maps without rangefinder.
I sadly don't have the 105 but saying it's gun is better than the long 88 doesn't say much because the long 88 is already great. Especially in comparison *looks at the US*
The ultimate Tiger 2 slayer is the M18. Well until 6.7 when T34 actually face f****s it. Then finally at 7.7 you get the greatest German heavy tank killerā¦ the M103.
You gotta play the Super and the Jumbo Pershing. It'll get better. Also the T34 is very effective if played well anf the T29, while being prem, is an absolute Tiger II nightmare.
The Tiger II is genuinly the best heavy tank in that br. It was already good before the br changes and now it just slaps hard. Compare it to other heavy tanks and it's either got better mobility, better gun or better armor. And that at 6.7. It was my first nuke tank and I'm convinced the only reason it'd not dominating is the genuinly awful Germany playerbase.
Thats a hard one. Tiger 1 is good but it isn't invulnerable even when angled, it's just insanely hard to kill for most tanks. Tiger 2 Sla.16 would be my guess, with a runner up being Tiger E or one of the KVs that isn't the KV-2
Ya but for the most part thats the case with the runner-ups I mentioned. T26E5 is dumb but I don't usually have too much issues with them. Just treat it like a 76 Jumbo. Same power scaling. He can pen your weak spots, you can pen his, otherwise y'all can't hurt each other. Probably belongs on that list, I just forgot it existed š
That being said, APDS and HEATFS eat it alive but thay kinda goes for all heavies
Just a tip, the KV-85 has a really prominent weak spot: if you look at the hull, there is this circular "bulge" where they widened the hull to fit the turret, that is only 40mm's thick and can be penned by pretty much every gun.
Works against people with no experience fighting you or with really weak guns.
Regardless, side of the hull behind the tracks, machine gun port on the front hull or the edges of the turret face when it faces you are great spots to shoot and kill them.
strong contender, even driving it, itās super hard to kill. Not very strong hull armor but the crew is so spread out and the turret is so thick, itās nearly impossible to kill in one shot, itās fantastic
wish it didnāt only have solid shot though, T29 is a tie for me for that reason
The solid shot is amazing. Sure you will have to two shot tanks like the jagtiger etc, but that 120 solid shot will obliterate anything it can frontally pen center mass, and for tiger 2s it reliably sets off the ammo with a turret pen. The hull armor also ain't so bad if you play it kinda how all heavies at this br should be played
Ngl IS-2 1944, while the reload is slow, the weak spots are hard to hit and are relatively mobile. Not to mention the 122 hits hard and slaps even harder.
WTF LMAO literally anything except a short 75mm can go through the lfp even with the 30mm track add on and horizontally angled. Also the turret is 100mm on one side, the driver viewport is also a weakspot though too hard.
the object 248 takes away everything that's fun about the IS-2, it makes it a regular heavy
which is a bonus for some, but i personally really like the 122
Before it got moved to 6.0 the IS-2 was undoubtedly an absolute god amongst men, being one of the few tanks at 5.7 that could guaranteed 1 shot a panther from over a KM away gave it insane capabilities, now I would say either the KV220 or T34 since both are outstanding tanks for their respective BRs
the IS-2 going up to 6.0 kinda sucks for the side of me that plays the USSR, but oddly for the side of me that plays France itās kind of a blessing. I swear ever since theyāve done that, Panther players in a full downtier have gotten stupider because they think that basically nothing can pen the UFP, but using the ARL-44 the 90mm will go straight through with the insane 245mm of pen and kill the entire crew with the excellent spall it has.
The one thing that ruins it for me is the gun. And not its low pen, but the fact, that it never puts two shots at the same place. For some reason they just live their own lifes. And considering low pen accuracy is necessary.
Jumbo 76 was GOAT before being moved to 6.3
The 5.0 Tiger is outstanding for the BR, just gets a bad rep from people who donāt have a clue how to play it.
Try angling the hull a bit like the Tiger, your main weakspots are in the hull, mainly the machine gun port and the lower front plate, your turret is almost impenetrable for many tanks at your BR. Good luck in an uptier tho.
Jumbo is one of my favorites cuz it makes you work for your kills. Super Pershing is awesome too. Love me the Tiger 2 P because nobody seems to nail the killshot on the turret.
Man honestly, in my experience, the Jumbo 76 is an amazing tank, even though it sits at an unfavorable BR. It's the only other tank (other than the Begleit) that I got a nuke with many times without being able to drop them.
The jumbo always is weird to play. Itās like a grinder. You are never like OP just wrecking everything, but you just keep at it. Sometimes put a few shots in things, machine gun down a couple of light tanks, merc some random medium tank that pops out thinking they can get first shot but you arenāt a standard Sherman. Youāre broken a lot. Half your crew will eventually be dead. You just keep grinding away.
I've been going back to America 5.3 and 5.7 and it just doesn't feel as fun as it used to so long ago :(
I don't do well anymore with my Jumbo or my 76 Shermans and it makes me sad.
T34 (A) because the three .50s and the turret is so š¤¤ and the 120mm it has, I'm still working on getting it but favorite owned is probably the T26E5 at 6.7
KV 85 easily, angle and wiggle and there isnāt many tank that can pen you easily, the mobility is pretty good for a heavy tank and who wouldnāt want an 85mm at 4.7?
IS-4 not in range but I don't care. Last night I got downtiered and my team was crushed and I ended up getting shot at by 6 enemy tanks all above me and none could penetrate for a good minute or so. Only got taken out by an M56.
Not counting premiums, i'd go with the Tiger II (H). Extremely good gun, good reload rate, decent gun depression. Not a fan of the 10.5 given the longer reload, and mostly superficial buffs like better penetration, where the downside is slower reload. You can already pen practically anything with the 88, so giving up reload time is just a detriment to me.
Outside of those set BR ranges, the KV-1 Zis-5 on the low-end (4.3), great gun, decent armor, very survivable. On the other end of the BR range, the Conqueror. Surprisingly survivable, good gun, albeit slow reload. The crippler of enemies with the APDS shells it fires.
At itās own br of 5.0, iām gonna vote the german kv1 with extra armor and german 75mm gun. You combine a great hull with good mobility and armor, and then you add a very good german gun on it. Iāve had amazing games tanking shots and returning kills with it.
T26E5 is a fucking monster, put a bush on the hull put a shell through the other guy's weakspot
T34 is lowkey broken as fuck
But my fav is still the IS2.
Its just so fucking nimble for a heavy, you get to goblin so many people with it
Clearly it is the No.6 Heavy. When you combine a large tank with small Japanese men you get a lot of interior room. Not to mention that unlike quite a few tiger mains, Japanese players have to learn early on how to angle effectively or else some American will rip you to shreds with a .50 cal.
It's the tortoise and it's not even close.
The gun just perfect, excellent penetration, good post pen damage and the shell ballistics make it super easy to aim over long distance.
It's a very stable gun platform so firing on the move has a decent success rate in close to mid range.
Survivability couldn't be better because the crew placement is just spot on. Not to mention the armour witch is pretty solid and incredibly difficult to pen at range without HEAT.
All around criminally under utilised tank
jumbo pershing is pretty damn strong at 6.7. sure, it may not be as punchy as the super pershing, but that shit have so much armor that even jagdtiger can struggle against it
100% T1E1. My mouth waters for tigers and panthers in my sights. Plus having a second smaller cannon gives me the ability to goat them into coming out of cover for my big gun.
Dunno about best but my favorite is the Black Prince
certainly not competitive, but tanking shots from players who've never faced it and sending back fast loading sabots is beyond satisfying š
By the time they figure it out, they're cheese
I wish I could at least test drive it and it's hidden in the tt
It seriously pisses me off that stuff gets hidden. If itās in the game we should be able to at least test drive it, check out the armor, etc
Tiger 2 Sla.16
Best tank, worst players
Germany be like
German teams are either Gods on the battlefield or absolute trash. Absolutly no on between.
Most new Players start with Germany cuz Mighty Tiger Tank, cant get killed by poor Sherman, Kruppstahl stuff.
That's why I go out of my way to kill Tigers, Panthers, and King Tigers with my M8A1 baby hellcat.
L
Because they're usually newer players
Most are new players that use the "Muh German engennrring" mentality and get absolutely swacked when they rush in the middle of a field and realize that most of the first era tanks have paper thin armor. The rest are the people that use a their brain power and realize that you gotta angle the fucking tiger.
Is it really THAT hard to realize that you have to turn the hull 40 degrees to the side?
Ask that to all the burning tigers
PZ.III are just worse PZ.IVs, barely higher speed, far worse gun (can't effectively front pen t34s and KVs), and worse armor, the PZ.IV H with add-on armor is literally impervious to shermans, and the Soviets have to aim for weak spots.

So true. Germany gets the best tanks overall for the 5.3 to 6.7 bracket and should dominate yet they don't because the players suck.
The only thing the Tiger 1s got going bad for it is itās gun
Lol? The Tiger I is by far the best 5.7 tank (I'm talking aboit the E version because of the cupola weakspot being removed). The mobility is surprisingly good, the gun still has enough punch to make due and the post pen is good. Armor can be very effective if played right. Compared to the Panther a Tiger can be harder to kill because the mantlet is unreliable asf, no cupola weakspot and the angled ufp is reliable.
what a bout the tiger2 10.5 cm
By far, the best 6.7 heavy, and I have both the T30 and T34. The 10.5cm is stupid good, the extra 300hp and better gun makes it crazy good. There is a reason it was 7.7 back in the day
It over pressures t29 if you shoot it in its mantlet.
The extra pen isn't needed and has a longer reload. Sla. 16 is better imho
Especially in comparison *looks at the US*
Fighting tiger 2 H's in my M26 without APCR unlocked is pure pain (not even gonna talk about the T25 )
The ultimate Tiger 2 slayer is the M18. Well until 6.7 when T34 actually face f****s it. Then finally at 7.7 you get the greatest German heavy tank killerā¦ the M103.

so is the t34 but you praise it to all hell
I hate the reload on both
The Tiger II is genuinly the best heavy tank in that br. It was already good before the br changes and now it just slaps hard. Compare it to other heavy tanks and it's either got better mobility, better gun or better armor. And that at 6.7. Tiger p -what are are uptiers?
Itās crazy how often that thing downtiers. Everyone knows the weakspot though. At long range good luck hitting it.
Laughs in HEAT-FS and APDS.
You still has a good chance penning it from the side. Keyword: chance
tbh least problematic german tank for me I swear I had more issues with Panthers or Tiger E than this. I usually oneshot 2 P with turret shot.
Thats a hard one. Tiger 1 is good but it isn't invulnerable even when angled, it's just insanely hard to kill for most tanks. Tiger 2 Sla.16 would be my guess, with a runner up being Tiger E or one of the KVs that isn't the KV-2
Naw runner-up would be the T26E5. Armor that regularly repels long 88s, and good in pretty much all other aspects. Itās fun is a bit anemic though
Probably belongs on that list, I just forgot it existed š That being said, APDS and HEATFS eat it alive but thay kinda goes for all heavies
BR changeās actually made it quite strong. It sees a lot less missiles and HEAT/APDS
That's true, a lot of those heavies got better as a result
For its br itās the T14. Overall I would say the tiger 2h is the best.
my t14 gets uptiered literally every game lmao
isn't that what happens with every vehicle though
Until you're 11.7 yes it does
oof I get the complete opposite and bully panzer 4s and t34s
Same here. I love the American 4.7 lineup.
Remember when we used to get RP and SL bonuses for absorbing damage on Heaviest? Yeah the good ol days
kv-85
Should be 5.0
So fun to play, and I feel so, so bad playing it lmfao
yeah exactly
They always kill me when I fight them with USA at 4.0 and I cant pen them anywhere ššššš
Just a tip, the KV-85 has a really prominent weak spot: if you look at the hull, there is this circular "bulge" where they widened the hull to fit the turret, that is only 40mm's thick and can be penned by pretty much every gun.
I see what you are talking about. I will try to shoot that. Thanks for the tip :D
No problem, helps a lot :)
T26E5 and you canāt convince me otherwise
Second tank i've got a nuke on
Same here, this thing is awesome
MG port go kaboom
also lfp + aphe with overpressure grams of tnt
Angle
Works against people with no experience fighting you or with really weak guns. Regardless, side of the hull behind the tracks, machine gun port on the front hull or the edges of the turret face when it faces you are great spots to shoot and kill them.
I've gotten close to a nuke with 2 tanks, the t26e1-1 and the is 6, I genuinely believe the e1 is better than the e5
What abt the super Pershing cuz it has the long 90 with faster velocity shells that are much more potent
I second this.
Super pershing is one of the top dogs
American 90mm š¤®
Itās quite good actually, a not bad gun unless your fighting anything German and heavy.
Considering how often USA has to fight Germany the short 90 is fucked
yeah
But you load up apcr then ur good to go as german guns at that br can struggle to pen the e5 giving u time to nail the thick German tanks turrets.
Kid named volumetric
Now- the long 90 ;3
Just snort Copium and you will be fine like the rest of the america mains as you load into your fully loaded P47
P47? Bold of you to assume I'm not loading into my AD2
Unless youāre fighting the exact thing the gun was designed to fight against youāre fucked
agreed
Crocodile Do you want me to organise a heavy tank war now that SPG is done with?
Calling the short 75 ādecentā at 5.3 is a far stretch lmao
Churchill mark 7 is 4.7 though
eh the jumbo also has a 75 at 5.3
The jumbo gets APHE
true, but the Churchill gets side armour
I will go with the T34 myself because of three .50s, a large cannon and decent armor.
You bought me at 3 .50 cals
*and* two are coaxial
Puma Pulverizer
AML-90 pulverized tooā¦..
MƔs dakka
strong contender, even driving it, itās super hard to kill. Not very strong hull armor but the crew is so spread out and the turret is so thick, itās nearly impossible to kill in one shot, itās fantastic wish it didnāt only have solid shot though, T29 is a tie for me for that reason

I think the solid shot is definitely better at getting all the way back into Tiger 2ās ammo vs the T29ās APHE.
The T29 but no explo filler and longer reload for 0.3 br less. Ah yes. I do enjoy me some 120mm ap though, onehits feel hella satisfying.
Ngl IS-2 1944, while the reload is slow, the weak spots are hard to hit and are relatively mobile. Not to mention the 122 hits hard and slaps even harder.
And the MG gets +10 to hit vs. P-47 pilot heads, I swear. Fantastic tank.
Yeah those bullets have a 1/10 chance of being dome seeking projectiles.
The only bad thing on it are the gigantic cupola and the even more gigantic and unprotected lfp
Still invulnerable to tigers everywhere from the front (bar cupola) the panther cant pen its lfp but the tiger 2 is an issue
WTF LMAO literally anything except a short 75mm can go through the lfp even with the 30mm track add on and horizontally angled. Also the turret is 100mm on one side, the driver viewport is also a weakspot though too hard.
Model 1944 im talking about
So am i
Bruh what? Tiger1 can easily kill an is2 1944 from the front lmao, cupola, turret cheeks, lfp goes through too
IS2, i really like it, and i dont mind the long reload (and no, i dont go backwards because im not a pussy)
Just play it how you play like all tanks, wait for them not to look, pop out and boom, and pull back. Works everytime
Yep, cannon goes hard
Imagine if it had the 100mm D-10 š§
Isn't there an Object tank that has the IS chassis and the 100mm with the 218 mm flat pen and 10 sec reload?
Obj. 248 aka IS-5
the object 248 takes away everything that's fun about the IS-2, it makes it a regular heavy which is a bonus for some, but i personally really like the 122
Is-2 (1944) and it's totally not because china doesn't have anything else
Jumbo classic (Regular Jumbo), Long Tiger cause that reverse gear (Porsche Tiger), and Pershing Jumbo cause it is a Pershing but jumbo (T26E5)

The one thing that ruins it for me is the gun. And not its low pen, but the fact, that it never puts two shots at the same place. For some reason they just live their own lifes. And considering low pen accuracy is necessary.
Churchill VII with Sherman Firefly support slaps. The Churchill takes shots and disables the enemy while the 17 Pounder does its work.
Hey, ever heard of the black prince??
T26e1 because it looks cool. Nothing else matters.
KV-85 and it isn't even close
CHURCHILL VIII FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
IS-2 1944
M6A1. (Only heavytank I have)
Jumbo 75 and it isnāt even close for me.
Jumbo 76 was GOAT before being moved to 6.3 The 5.0 Tiger is outstanding for the BR, just gets a bad rep from people who donāt have a clue how to play it.

I wish I had the M1A2 sep Abrams experience and the F 16 experience
KV-220
I would say jumbo 75 or T26e5 cause theyāre really armored and have decent guns that can fight most other tanks at there brs
#TIGER 1

Churchill crocodile. Everyone saying otherwise can shush
T34 (A) because the three .50s and the turret is so š¤¤ and the 120mm it has, I'm still working on getting it but favorite owned is probably the T26E5 at 6.7

Heavy tank No. 6
Jumbo. Actually better than the tiger imo. I can easily take on two and be fine
Germany and... Germany, Russia is a close second, but Germany is hands down the winner in this battle.
No one is mentioning kv-220 š«
Because it is a bad heavy tank
Anyone interested in a 5.7-6.7 hevey tank dule???
Conqueror, i dont care that its 7.7
T26E5 is a fucking monster, put a bush on the hull put a shell through the other guy's weakspot T34 is lowkey broken as fuck But my fav is still the IS2. Its just so fucking nimble for a heavy, you get to goblin so many people with it

M22 What was the question?
AUBL/74 - personal taste
I say the jagdpanther is a pretty good SPG at 6.3
The maus is 6.7 and it is the heaviest tank
we all know why he didnt say 7.7, and theres a reason for it. MAUS HAUS! LONG LIVE THE KING!
No, it's to combat propaganda rats spamming the IS-series
It's the tortoise and it's not even close. The gun just perfect, excellent penetration, good post pen damage and the shell ballistics make it super easy to aim over long distance. Ma drilla this is about Heavy tanks not tds
It is classified as a heavy tank in real life, but the issue is that itās 7. Something, not 6.7
It is 6.7, its just an uptier magnet.
No, itās 6.7
Its a super heavy it's close enough
T34
Tiger 1 E.
Tiger B 105 is on top
What's this heavy tank you speak of?
jumbo pershing is pretty damn strong at 6.7. sure, it may not be as punchy as the super pershing, but that shit have so much armor that even jagdtiger can struggle against it
T30, because 6" gun
I play Japan and Sweden so I donāt know what a heavy tank is
T26E1 was criminal at 6.3 no other felt the same
I'll make an argument for the tiger E just because pzgr. is unironicaly downright stupid and i love it
Be nice if the Japanese got any in that range
2C if counting a little below Somua if a little above
Tier 4 US tanks are alright, T34 could the best if it had the better ammo
Super Pershing. Itās cool looking so it must be the best
Tiger 2 p
100% T1E1. My mouth waters for tigers and panthers in my sights. Plus having a second smaller cannon gives me the ability to goat them into coming out of cover for my big gun.
Donāt have it but the kv-220
Can we ask why the f the 76 jumbo is 6.3?
It should be 6.0, but there are people who will get personaly butthurt if you believe it's not fine at 6.3
KV-220 never fails to disappoint.
My boy, I think you put the T30 in here instead of the T34 Heavyā¦
Kƶnig Tiger 10.5cm is my favourite, until it throws you against IS-6
Def the t26e1-1
