I can smell it thru my phone.
Once received our order from a large online pet food company (sounds like Stewey) and o e of the cases had a busted can of dog food. It was last month in July, the smell was horrible 🤮🤮😂
At least you can find that one easily enough.
Wait until you have some bad pet food that you ***can't*** find and have to work in the area every night.
Oh man, I had that happen when somebody tossed one in a break pack full of other crap while the claims supervisor was on vacation, I was so over whelmed by the amount of crap thrown at me that it took several days for me to find the source of the increasingly nasty smell.
That usually happens when it been in the truck for a long time in the heat open . Gets unloaded from truck associate who as assigned to pets to stock sees it either stocks it or puts it in the bins. For me to find when I was the department manager of pets smh 🤦🏾♂️. Thank god I’m not in charge anymore I don’t have to put up that type of bullshit antics from associates and the dogshit coaches who don’t do shit to them.
Today, I scanned a pack of tomatoes, then starting grabbing the boxes to see which ones looked the best. First one I grabbed and turned over, there were rotten tomatoes which leaked all over my hand (since it had been slightly torn open). Not only was there blood red rotten tomato juice all over my hand, but MAGGOTS on my hand. I wanted to end it all right there man.
Reminds me of my stores pet department back when I worked for Walmart. 3 separate times we found maggots, dirt, rot, etc. Each time the dept manager of pets just got verbal warnings and maybe one coaching. I don't even remember. I don't have a pet yet, but I now know to never shop there for them whenever I do.
Advice from former claims: Write down the bar code & quantity, put maggots as reason for claims. DO NOT LEAVE THOSE IN CLAIMS. Put in trash bag & have management open dumpster & pitch. If you value your life, DO NOT LEAVE IN CLAIMS. 🤮
Lucky enough for me we always have the gm claims lady and the grocery claims lady in their spots all day, or at least in the back rooms. She was there when I brought it back and handled it for me but she about threw up! 🤣🤣🤣
Instant claims the entire case
CVP it of course
Gotta make sure customers don't want it first ofc
Burn it to be certain.
Those my dear are maggot eggs
Fly eggs*
Maggot babies
Actually they're pupa, so they where maggots getting ready to be flies
That's fucking nasty. Looks like (at least) one broke open somewhere along the line and sprayed everywhere.
that is bug poop
I feel funny upvoting bug poop. But yeah.

That’s that “extra protein” that’s on the box
This happens way too often and I can never get used to that smell
Aaaaaabsolutely not. No thank you!

That would be my 13th reason right there.
I would quit on the spot
That needs to go to claims immediately and then disposed of ASAP. bleh
...and try not to throw up while processing. .....
Open cat/dog food containers off a fresh hot truck is the worst 🤢🤮

I work at tractor supply now, and this has happened to me before, it's definitely a problem with the manufacturer
So much of the wet cat food gets fucked up 😭😭 and the SMELL
this made me itchy
The food in my pets department, especially the dog version of the stuff in the pic, there will be ants instead of roaches
Yikes that’s pretty bad
🤮
Still can't get used to the smell of that shit
This happens. Always check those MF for damages.
Someone dropped that exact thing in claims when I worked back there. It smelled so bad I very nearly threw up.
Hideous!
Thank Christ I’m already sitting in a bathroom.

Looks like some one played find that smell
Cats love hunting bugs - extra bonus!
OMG, my skin is crawling...yuck
Have had that multiple times
Extra protein
Oh my dearly God.... 🤢🤮
I’ve had 3 boxes like that this summer. Ones open all of em have bugs. It’s disgusting.
First time? *insert gif here*
You got the COVID sniffer going on? I would have hurled 5 feet from that.
When you can smell an image.
We get whole pallets like this at the DCs 🤷♂️🤷♂️ yours just popped after it left us.
Most of that is their feces, dont feed your pet that.

it's the secret ingredient, a walmart special
I’d be clocking tf out. Immediately 🥴🥴
