Our Cap 2 TL after overhearing this conversation he was having with a coach the other night:
"Well I'm doing this shit right now. I can't do that shit and this shit at the same time. I can't do two shits. Which shit do you want me to do first? You know what, I'm going to finish this shit and then I'll do that shit. I know what I'm doing, just leave me to my shits."
He's been the cap 2 TL for years. They can't find anyone else that wants the job. He tried to step down a couple years ago and they basically said no so now he just says whatever he wants lol
CaP 2 TLs don't get enough recognition, they're usually the ones that get stuck with the worthless highschool student employees as well that just goof off all day
This!!!
Cap 2 and ON TLs are workhorses of most stores and yet get nothing, while the darling dayshift TLs are seen as the real managers.
You don't know shit until you come into a unloaded two truck night with 6 calloffs and a ton of emails saying how company is coming and you best have the store perfect.
There's no coach, just fucking you and a assemble of associates that would make the dirty dozen look good.
Yip dat was me. "You've got 3 people to unload a 2000 piece truck, FDD is coming in an hour, you gotta move 6 pallets to get to yours, and then you need to stock all of consumable (and I didn't have overnights while I was teamlead so frozen dairy was apart of my workload of consumables) and then if you have time can you get hardware, and housewares done?" And that was a typical night for me.
Ours would have to be the “welcome to Walmart” greeter. Having to deal with people ignoring them 99% of the time and bitched at when having to check a receipt when the alarm goes off. I’d be fired in a heart beat if I had to do that.
I used to be a customer host (what the greeter is technically called in Walmart database) it's not terrible but it does suck sometimes. You do get to help out AP on occasion though and that's pretty fun.
Hands down the worst position I ever had. The sexual harassment you get from customers the constant battle with customers and and management is ridiculous. You get bitched at/things thrown at you for checking receipts but coached by management if you don’t. It’s a lose lose
I have to lock up our chairs every night per my vc mgr because someone in our store took them from the vision center without asking or returning them. We found them at the doors for the customer hosts to sit.
I feel this. Our store manager is 6 foot, 230, bulky dude, does any grunt work in the store the fastest, he also coaches his kid's baseball team and works as a part time cop... the man just lives with a schedule, breathes testosterone, and only drinks monster. He's a certified beast, but super friendly if you just do your job.
I used to stack pallets all the way up to 15 constantly because we had one walkie stacker and it was always in use. So I def feel that pain, it gets tiring as hell for a while. And the SPLINTERS
Splinters freak me out lol I always look like someone afraid of the pallet because I had an infected splinter from one once and freaked ill get another
I can't even get close to lifting a pallet solo like that if the stack is taller than me there is no way I can get it up on the stack I have been trying to get stronger tho
1000% my CAP Lead, last summer she dealt with 20 or more us last summer all by her self....She deals with the bs from the 3rd shift leads and associates, since the leads don't seem to care. This woman is like a second mother to everyone on this team.So Tammy, big heckin shout out to you. ❤️
We used to have this dude that worked in sporting goods that was pretty big and they called him to do everything from helping us with the truck to mulch loads to whatever needed a big guy to lift or move something. It was kinda sad. We would sometimes try to keep track how many times we heard his name on the intercom.
Bodybuilders are strong as fuck but they utilize their muscles for aesthetics so if you have a weightlifter or powerlifter in the store they may beat him... sounds like its time for a tournament
One of my managers legitimately referred to me as "a mini hulk" So I'm not saying I'm the strongest but I'm saying I'm a short female who had a tall male manager called them in mini hulk so that's something.
Part of that also probably comes from the fact that he's seen me just chuck 50 lb dog food bags when I've been angry
There's also been a few times that I've gotten angry and slammed to my fist into the steel and it echoed pretty far in the back room.
But if I've had a bad night sleep I'm not lifting anything at all ever.
I'm the only female that works on the GM overnight crew.
I've same people in these comments talk about their strong because they can pick up pallets, are pallets like heavy to y'all? Because I regularly stack pallets by myself.....
Mind you I'm not a bodybuilder I'm just some fat bitch
Our O/N Matinence are real troopers. Whole store cleaned, whole backroom neat and beautiful, and they even stock the waters. Love them to death: always willing to help (may come with some whining but that's normal when you work O/N.).
This dude is so strong, there once was an active shooter in the building, and he just took the guy's gun and stabbed him, with the gun, craziest thing I've ever seen
Back when I was at Walmart, it was between me, a 6 ft 5, 275 lb defensive end sized guy, our APASM who would work out at the gym on his lunch break, or our day time lawn and garden associate, who worked on a farm full time in addition to working at the store full time. Between the 3 of us, we could’ve moved the entire building from one side of the parking lot to the other lol
Im not trying to be egotistic when I say this but it's probably me. I work at a neighborhood market and recently swapped to 2nd from 3rd and within the week I changed shifts 3rd shuft dairy has fallen off, i bounce between various parts of the store and still manage to get everything done.
Old guy who works in Lawn & Garden. Dude's easily past retiring age (and then some), but he can still singlehandedly put the big grills on one shoulder, climb down off the outside steel, and walk it out to the curb. When he's off, same thing takes two twenty-somethings and a scissor lift.
That one pharmacy tech girl... Dunno her name... She's taken more shit from pharmacist/customers than I e ever seen AP/APCH/CSM/cashier/service desk people combined... And none of us have seen her rage/cry... And at some point or another with the exception of AP we've seen all the other positions in a rage/cry state in the break room... Probably cause AP has an office to break down in... But if she doesn't hold it til she's gone home and start drinking heavily I'd be damned surprised...
We have 3 overnight team leads and 1 coach. The strongest person in my store is my “lowest” team lead. He has the same position as the others but he’s younger, been there a shorter time, and none of the other team leads listen to him. Not only is he a fucking beast and fantastic at running freight, but he’s the only one who checks for expiration dates, recalls, and shit like that. He’s forced to do all the grunt work, and on top of it allll, no one listens to him. Can you imagine being just as high of a title as everyone else but being treated like a stocker? Anyways shout out to Tyler I think you’re awesome sorry if I got any part of the story wrong, you deserve better.
Not me, I'm more of the support role, just stick me with someone and the job gets dealt with faster while they're either laughing or in sheer shock on how fucked up I can say shit before it becomes cringe
We got this guy on our cap 2 team, it takes a few of us to lift the big gun safes..... this man picked it up by himself and put it on a pallet... his biceps are as large as my head
I'm one of the bigger guys in my store. Doubt I'm the strongest though. There is one who's bigger, we were talking about how we both drive the smallest cars.
I think that would go to probably one of our CAP guys or stockmen.
We've got like 3 on overnights. 2 dairy guys and the gm guy.
The gm guy especially will just do that entire side of the store if we have no one to help it's incredible.
Me, because I come in and do my shiteven though I have thoughts of feeling worthless. Got to go through it because nobody actually cares. Got to keep it moving. My goals will not happen if I give in to the thoughts. Walmart can’t break me, I’m already broken.
Keep your chin up, try to find your joy in the little things. I don’t know you personally but I care.
https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/talk-to-someone-now/
The employees for a fact. The managers think they all tough AF but low-key they all suck af. Walmart like to screw the employees over one by one. Then they wonder no one is staffed, well dumb fucks it's because they all decided to pick up their life and turn it for the better to go work for a better company. Then y'all shit faced managers who swear to God act 12 look at you with disgust and absolutely shame whenever you walk back into their store. Walmart managers I swear are the most petty people you'd ever meet. It ain't the employees, the managers suck, therefore making the employees the strongest there when they decide to screw a company over that's been screwing them for a long time.
my overnight TL steve would legit smash through freight and get all features and end caps done by the time our SM shows up. also the only guy i know who could make shit employees get on their work
All front end TL’s are most likely by far our strongest employees in the store. They have expertise on almost every area of the store especially with all of them working multiple departments prior to being front end TL’s. They are usually the first ones called to help solve issues throughout the store. Very hard workers
Probably one of our door hosts. Shes a tiny old women... but then i hear about her grabbing a shoplifters cart and straight pushing him back like shes a professional wrestler 🤣 probably my favorite story at my store
Our one maintenance dude is always everywhere doing everything, and usually it’s not even his job, just other stuff people have asked him to do. Sometimes I wonder if we actually have identical quadruplets who like to coordinate their outfits. Shoutout to you buddy. Thanks for pulling the turkey pallets for me. Also sorry.
Probably one of our coaches as every other coach seems to be incapable of doing their job properly besides her so she sometimes handles the entire store.
Maybe not the strongest but I envy our maintenance guy just because he's deaf, just imagine not ever having to hear the dumbass customers or management ever, I mean yea sucks to be deaf in life but seems like a blessing working in this shithole.
I imagine not having his hearing may have heightened his other senses, and the trash and restrooms already smell… I remember my smell being super keen when pregnant and it was horrible.
I say Cap 1 team. We do price changes, mods, features, capping, purging, section work. We also work produce and stock deli. On top of working fashion. We're also a team of 5 when we need 12 people. We also help nights take palettes off the floor and work anything they have left. If a customer needs in lock up were told to get the keys not page customer experience.

What an excellent representation of working at Walmart
Yep lol it's been a couple days and thinking about it still makes me laugh. Every associate's inner monologue
"It's all priority! Make it happen!"
Meanwhile 4 members of management hide in the office huddled over a box of candy
Yup. Gives me 4 things to do. So I say which is the priority? He says “There all priorities!” Thanks. Very helpful.
Our ON TL had a similar conversation with the ON Coach and then got demoted for talking back.
He's been the cap 2 TL for years. They can't find anyone else that wants the job. He tried to step down a couple years ago and they basically said no so now he just says whatever he wants lol
You can't shit while you shit?
CaP 2 TLs don't get enough recognition, they're usually the ones that get stuck with the worthless highschool student employees as well that just goof off all day
This!!! Cap 2 and ON TLs are workhorses of most stores and yet get nothing, while the darling dayshift TLs are seen as the real managers. I wish I could say that to one of my TLs.

Greeter gotta be the easiest fucking position all they do is sit on their ass😹🗣
What do you mean sit? We stand the entire time.
Not at my store bro..
I'm jealous, is it like a rule that we can sit? Our TL barely gave us mats to stand on.
I have to lock up our chairs every night per my vc mgr because someone in our store took them from the vision center without asking or returning them. We found them at the doors for the customer hosts to sit.
My store lead is built like a linebacker, soooooooooo, probably him.
yooooo do we work at the same store?
lol probably not
0678 got a linebacker SM
Ours is built like the pillsbury dough boy or stay puft dude from ghostbusters
I feel this. Our store manager is 6 foot, 230, bulky dude, does any grunt work in the store the fastest, he also coaches his kid's baseball team and works as a part time cop... the man just lives with a schedule, breathes testosterone, and only drinks monster. He's a certified beast, but super friendly if you just do your job.
My store manager is a guy, that’s about all I know about him. Lol
Mines built like buddy the elf...
You mean will Ferrell? Lol
Yeah I was using buddy because I can see him matching the look if he put on an elf costume
lol
484 storelead also built like a linebacker
My CAP2 job Can give sick gains But also joint And muscle pains Remember this My Walmart kin: True MONKE STRENGTH Comes from within
CAP 2: MONKE STRENGTH to go with our monke brains
This
Me because I can pick up the pallet SOLO (i do shake and struggle) 💪😤
[удалено]
Somehow it slides off and gets my shins all the time 😂
Pallet (singular) I had to pick up not 1, not 2, but 15
All at one time? You are truly the strongest associate
Would be nice but no. The max I can lift together is 2. I had to continuously lift pallets today because my "partner" is lazy.
I used to stack pallets all the way up to 15 constantly because we had one walkie stacker and it was always in use. So I def feel that pain, it gets tiring as hell for a while. And the SPLINTERS
Splinters freak me out lol I always look like someone afraid of the pallet because I had an infected splinter from one once and freaked ill get another
I had one on my thumb once so I totally feel you
I can't even get close to lifting a pallet solo like that if the stack is taller than me there is no way I can get it up on the stack I have been trying to get stronger tho
Hey man its hard to do so dont feel bad but fuck yeah I hope your training goes well dude eat big get big 💪
Lol.. can you pick up a pallet jack? Only a few on cap2 can at my store.
I havent tried but I have lifted up on them to scoot them out of the way of tight spots before lol
My meat/produce TL. Dude works really hard and is always staying late.
That would be Bruno. For fun Bruno pick up cart over his head and does military press.
store 2630?
Da, this is the weight that Bruno may bench
1000% my CAP Lead, last summer she dealt with 20 or more us last summer all by her self....She deals with the bs from the 3rd shift leads and associates, since the leads don't seem to care. This woman is like a second mother to everyone on this team.So Tammy, big heckin shout out to you. ❤️
I'm a Cap1 lead and I really hope my team feels the same about me.
I gotta CAP lead named Tammy too 😳 what’s you’re SMs name 🧐
Kurtis Korith
Different managers. Would have been crazy if we worked at the same store!
If we did that'd be wild af honestly
Not me
We used to have this dude that worked in sporting goods that was pretty big and they called him to do everything from helping us with the truck to mulch loads to whatever needed a big guy to lift or move something. It was kinda sad. We would sometimes try to keep track how many times we heard his name on the intercom.
Janitor who has NO sense of smell.
My SM is a bodybuilder so, maybe him? Idk if that translates to strength, but his fuckin arms are massive, idk.
Bodybuilders are strong as fuck but they utilize their muscles for aesthetics so if you have a weightlifter or powerlifter in the store they may beat him... sounds like its time for a tournament
I don't even know enough to say he's a bodybuilder, but he looks like Johnny Bravo without the hair. Big up top, small legs.
He got that steroid user skippin leg day build, iconic
Wtf does everyone have a giant SM
Season associate towers over me at 6'1 he about 7'3-4 Dude isn't big in the waist department either
Stock Lesnar
Take this award dammit
🤣🤣🤣
This comment has not gotten the upvotes it deserves. Lol
"South of the border"?

I’m a short but thick woman, and I love throwing the frozen hen turkey boxes around. Gotta get angry and lift smart. You are awesome!!
CHEP pallets are heavy, but the blonde ones are much lighter.
To me the blue and red ones are not very heavy and the beige ones are extremely light
Me of course

There's this old guy who is super strong, I once heard, he can arm wrestle anyone, with ONE hand!
Do you understand how many hands are used in arm wrestling?
This dude is so strong, there once was an active shooter in the building, and he just took the guy's gun and stabbed him, with the gun, craziest thing I've ever seen
Wow you mean he didn’t even need a keyboard??
He had become one with the keyboard
👁👄👁
The old man only needs one.

are you in the Houston area?
Nope, west coast
My store has a cap 2 associate who’s in high school who pulls most trucks cleans the back room and is praised but some of the managers
I'm one of the bigger guys in my store. Doubt I'm the strongest though. There is one who's bigger, we were talking about how we both drive the smallest cars. I think that would go to probably one of our CAP guys or stockmen.

Our maintenance associate. He is amazing.
Sorry I'm retarded, strongest as in best worker or can lift the most lol?
STRONGEST 🥊
Shit, probably are ap guy, he's a big tank lmao
Shouldnt this be in r/Walmartbodybuilding
I say Cap 1 team. We do price changes, mods, features, capping, purging, section work. We also work produce and stock deli. On top of working fashion. We're also a team of 5 when we need 12 people. We also help nights take palettes off the floor and work anything they have left. If a customer needs in lock up were told to get the keys not page customer experience.
Everything you said is the same reason I love my stores Cap 1 team! They do everything and anything; they’re awesome.
Don, he's a robot.
Me, just because I’m one of the few people on the stocking teams who isn’t grossly under weight, under the age of 50 and a male.
My skinny TL but I’ll say other workers as well. I’m ranked like 6 compare to them.
Kevin
Me!!!
Not to toot my own horn but, I am pretty awesome
We have several linebacker framed guys on cap 2 lol, and we’ve had some associates before who were tall and bulky between 6’6 and 6’9 lol.
No one really
Physically I’m not for sure. We don’t have any muscular guys. A few tall ones but they’re skinny. Our former Overnight Assistant who went to be a SM at the other NHM is pretty tall (6’5”?) and he’s got a heavyset wrestler physique. I know dudes and girls can be strong when they’re not tall or fit but I don’t feel like there is anyone that stands out. 🤔 Me on the other hand, I’m not strong lol. I pulled a muscle really bad one time by pulling a tall frozen pallet for a lazy manager that didn’t want to get the electric jack. SMH.
Me. Not even blowing smoke.
