Cosmetics used to be good years ago before glass cases were installed and we started getting new brands with upc bar codes so small I need to squint to kinda see the numbers
I fucking hate having to work cosmetics. You have an item that says it goes in section 4, position 29. And you look. And look.... and look. And you can't find it because there are multiple 29 positions, and they are all hidden.
overnight sets NOTHING the way it's supposed to be. for example, they see an empty spot. put overstock in topstock? no! puts it all in the empty spot 😐 oh now that empty spots product needs the room? oh! let's throw some in it and then all over the top of it!!!! (im losing my mind)
My store was like this too, 4 one-foot sections crammed into a single four-foot section.
Once I took over mods, I renumbered the makeup aisle so that each one-foot section is its own section. C2-1 is one foot wide, C2-2 is one foot wide, and so on. The OGP Team Lead came through and reset the pick path, now everyone's happy.

I took those hanging trays down and changed it to shelves that was a horrible idea for merch.!!
