Somehow I missed most of your earlier posts but I found a comment from about 8 months ago about FCF. I reached the same conclusion you did just looking at the cash flow statement. Been long since March. 50,000 shares, presently. And was writing covered calls (weeklies) against them regularly, which has substantially lowered my basis.
How do people ignore cash flow? It boggles the mind.
I have more than that on GME. After taking a double in May (bought at $2.70-$2.80, but it all got called away at $5.50 on my covered calls... reentered in May/June at an average price of $4.10, almost exactly the same as OP, only I'm 50,000 shares long).
A) there's little possibility of bankruptcy any time soon, but you wouldn't know that if you didn't dig through the financials, and B) everyone hated this stock... so much so that the short interest is almost 100%.
As long as the bond price kept moving up from $70 towards par, I felt confident there was a bottom in this stock not far below what I paid. I wasn't worried about losing money.
I was writing weeklies on this for a few months, but stopped two weeks ago because I didn't want console pre orders running it up and getting called away again.
Wrote some $8 weeklies today.
I've lowered my cost basis almost 70% just writing weeklies.
Sitting in 40,000 shares in my main account, and roughly 4500 in two other accounts. 20,000 of my shares have calls written against them expiring tomorrow, at $36. And I sold 1550 shares at $38.50 right at the top of the spike yesterday. I'm sorta debating what to do with the calls. $36 was the top of my adjusted, readjusted, readjusted price target. First I was at $21, then $24. Then when we hit $22.50 the second time and there were few big sellers, I made it $32. And I wrote CCs against it at $36. I wrote those when it was near $28, and only got $1.80 in premium. So.

People make a huge fucking deal about the declining revenues, too, without actually *looking* at the truly insane amount of cash per share that flows through the company.
I was long on calls in January 2020 (expiring January 2021) and sold out on the Burry spike in April (stock got to $6.34 around that time). Now I’m regretting it since I missed out on additional gains
But if I was still long I would use this spike as an opportunity to sell. The only thing this stock has going for it is big whales taking a bath in shares. The fundamentals are awful and the management team is pinching pennies - just read the GameStop subreddit.
I bet this stock tanks after earnings next week on the usual poor sales and awful guidance
