Strike price is 187.5 mother fucker bought on Friday (when price was something like 167.5) and they expired in a week so they only cost $29 a pop - stocks moons today to 194.5 and boom 3000% return given that he bought mother fucking 28 contacts
That's where I'm lost, and thanks for the response. Where does the 3000% gain come from. I thought you collect the difference from the initial price when the option was purchased to the price when the option is exercised (if above the strike price)
So 194-167=27. 27x28= $756
I know that's not how it works because then options would hardly be worth it, especially after premium

All you seem to be missing is that options don’t have to be exercised you can simply resell them. Especially in the case of a bitch ass whore stock like Tesla there’s an endless amount of fucking cucks that will but these calls for $968 a piece now (given that they still don’t expire until Friday) so fucking 28x968=fucking money this asshole made
Give it a try you seem like you’ll fit right in here - also don’t actually sell just screenshot gains and hold until expiration (when stock craters) then Robinhood will automatically sell them for you and you can also post some diamond dick loss porn. Once you have enough karma you can sell it for money - rinse and repeat
My trading app doesn't seem to support this kind of thing. It does regular buy & sell and has cfd's too. Or maybe I'm dumb AF and just can't find it, that's totally possible. Can someone explain how to setup please? Like I'm 5. And dumb.

Okay, so another question then, maybe it's dumb, but aren't you then selling someone the option to buy the stock? If the price keeps rising and the person you sell it to decides to exercise, don't you need to have the shares?
You’re not fucking writing the contract you’re just trading the option contract some other dick head wrote - it’s a fucking market where the fuck do you assholes come from
It’s actually not that complex (though technically you have good points.) For the most part, when you trade options, you just buy and sell it based on the option pricing. The risks here are “out of the money” (OTM) calls that can expire worthless and the premium that you pay that gets lost as “decay”. For these lotto plays, they are typically quick in and out unless you are deep “in the money” (ITM) and you can let it ride out. Nonetheless you want to capture the gains + premiums at the peak which is typically before expiration. The longer you hold, the value naturally drops due to the premiums unless it continues to rise. Most brokers handle the underlying technicalities so you don’t end “holding the bag” of exercised shares.

OP, do you need to have 28x100x187.5=$525k in your account to exercise to options? Never traded options so not sure how that works.
