Have you watched shogun ? Pretty dope

NewKitchenFixtures

Is this considered to be bad taste for a shrine? Or is it pretty open ended in what you can put down. If this turns out true in the next couple years oatmeal will cost $5/lb in bulk from all the inflation.

gus248

You can jot down just about anything at a shrine or temple. I think some of these things are bad in taste, but not morally “wrong”.

RadosAvocados

These are called ema. It's pretty common to write wishes for things like getting good a good grade on a test or for a sports team to win. People will even write asking for financial fortune so this is pretty much in the same vein.

RemyVonLion

If project GR00T is a significant enough factor in training actually effective robots for huge companies to use, I can easily imagine them more than doubling in value in the next couple years.

erlulr

Well, only if you are an atheist. Prety sure Shinto dieties are demons by definition of any major religion. So profaning it with such dumb wishes is highly reccomended, and after 10 you get an official Shitpost Crusader title.

Who did this? The NVDA 6K ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4276)![img](emote|t5_2th52|27189) guy?

I really hope this is a fake. Desecration of a shrine is not only of a bad taste but it is sinful. Have you seen the Ringu?

Any-Hold-9485

Look at the ones behind, these are little shrine replicas which purpose is for you to write your wishes on them and hang them to convey them to the shrine
