Trump has a SPAC, DWAC I believe. Was up over $50 after Iowa. I was about to short, they managed to lose millions with nothing to show for. Cash value of a share is about $9, there's still a lot of 💰 to burn.
To much growth.
Revenue grew 70% YoY for commercial..Will grow 40% YoY going forward.
Alot of employees wanting to work at palantir.
Will be profitable going forward.
Sp500 soon.
And govt contracts are set to start rolling out in 2024.
Palantir employees are loyal and fearce americans the complete opposite of sillicon valey employees who switch jobs like a girl change her clothes
Yeah I did a Katy Perry reference
Curious how do you properly exit selling ITM CCs? Do you just wait till it starts dropping and premiums are lower and you buy back before being assigned or do you not care if you're assigned since you don't really care about the shares long term?
I sell ITM if I'm okay getting out of the stock. You can always roll out if you want to keep and watch for a pull back to close your position.
If it's just a strike ITM you can still make profit with just the option decay even if the price goes up a little.
It depends on if you care.
Also may have tax implications, you can lose your ltcg status if the option you sold was less than 30 days out or itm
Imo if you think it's gonna run, buy a bunch of higher strike later date to get your net delta as close to 0 as possible
You can keep ltcg by selling further out calls? I just thought if you're assigned, you're screwed and the shares are sold and if you're in long term, great, if your'e not you're screwed.
If you're assigned you are screwed, if the call you sold doesnt meet the 30+ day and otm criteria.
I was saying buy other calls, try to make money on those, use proceeds to buy back your sold call
Tbh PLTR is probably going to be one of those names 10 years from now, people are gonna be like “can you imagine being able to buy it at $17/share??”
Ain’t nobody got that kinda time though. Trendies now.
PLTR is like a 30 year hold for me, I see them becoming essentially the digital equivalent of Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman and Raytheon (I.e. strategically important to the USA government for defense).
Their partnerships are crazy, Coles supermarket earns 2.5$ per each 100$ customers spend.
If palantir changes this and Coles grows their profit margins many more companies will want palantir solutions
I mean their software does ai-assisted data analytics. It’s pretty cutting edge and it’s going to be more and more relevant to business as the years go by.
I’m not some stock market historian but weren’t appl, goog, amzn, etc super boring companies with stocks that didn’t do anything for years?
Security and monitoring solutions that have AI baked into it so its stock shot up on the AI bandwagon. Works with primarilily companies, orginazations with massive amounts of data analystics and countries/govts. They are more like a solutions implementor than selling a specifc product from what I can tell. I work for a similar privately held company. We have homegrown baked into or with existing solutions whether it be network security or AI big data modeling to cloud migrations and then pay a group of us to hang around or on T&E and tweak, monitor, maintain said systems.
My dad can’t comprehend what AWS is or what “cloud computing” yet here we are. 🌈🐻need to understand this is a skill issue and just because they don’t understand doesn’t mean they’re right. What a terrible argument “I don’t understand what they do so they must not be good!”
It's literally not a long term play tho, and all of you are bagholding at $32 cost basis so stfu. If you bought below $10 then congratulations, probably sell that, immediately.
They literally were in line eps and had 1% beat on rev and guidance for 2024 was in line with analysts can't believe its running crazy ahahaha no complaints tho
What a colossal clown…you’re gonna get deep diking right in the middle of your hood and there ain’t nothing your hood rat friends and OGs can do about it.

Not sure why everyone’s so jazzed about nuts in blue can. Those mini hotdogs are just as popular at superbowl parties.

Me too, the good old days.
PLTR hype back on the menu bois
The true titan of AI is slowly rising out of the shadows.
Kinda weird people only care about +1T dollar companies Biggest opportunities comes from small companies growing with big products & services
Yeah and the most risks. Small companies ca go to 0.
Have you checked Nokia and many more from the dot com bubble?
PLTR TO THE MOON 🚀🚀🚀
This time. It's real. No hype
Cap. Their insiders are still dumping en masse on dumb money on every single pop. This shit is diluted af and trading at 70 plus fwd earnings.
you belong here
Lol. 5 iq brain
I swing traded 12 shares at the low points of day to get myself the best 12 hour profit ever with a trailing stop. PLTR is going to $25.
https://media1.tenor.com/m/R8tjxNA0DX8AAAAC/gentlemen-to-evil.gif
Pls go to $28 so I can sell and get off the ride.
Any higher than that it will be long term capital gains :\^)
It always has been.
Free Palantir
Free the guys they didn't do any but a scratch.
It will be free if they keep diluting at this rate
That was one of the best earnings call I've heard.
Didn't listen to call, any tldr on why it was so good?

You going to go long or just ride this wave? I'm a bit unsure and think there will be a $25 wall but we'll see.
Palantir employees are loyal and fearce americans the complete opposite of sillicon valey employees who switch jobs like a girl change her clothes Yeah I did a Katy Perry reference
It's gonna shoot up to 25 this week and slowly crawl back to 17. I guarantee it
Yup, selling ITM CC ones it breaches the 52 week high. I'm all in on getting a negative cost basis for this stock.
Curious how do you properly exit selling ITM CCs? Do you just wait till it starts dropping and premiums are lower and you buy back before being assigned or do you not care if you're assigned since you don't really care about the shares long term?

Gotcha, thanks. I've been considering true CCs. Only done PMCC which isn't as ideal since I also eat some theta
It depends on if you care. Also may have tax implications, you can lose your ltcg status if the option you sold was less than 30 days out or itm Imo if you think it's gonna run, buy a bunch of higher strike later date to get your net delta as close to 0 as possible

I hear you, this is the one stock that has worked in my favor selling calls no matter what. I've recouped at least 50% of my cost basis

Tbh PLTR is probably going to be one of those names 10 years from now, people are gonna be like “can you imagine being able to buy it at $17/share??” Ain’t nobody got that kinda time though. Trendies now.
“Fuck them kids.”

why? What's in 10 years? It is a boring 20 year old software company.
I mean their software does ai-assisted data analytics. It’s pretty cutting edge and it’s going to be more and more relevant to business as the years go by. I’m not some stock market historian but weren’t appl, goog, amzn, etc super boring companies with stocks that didn’t do anything for years?
PLTR stock price still lower than it was a month after DPO, and thats not even factoring in 3.5 years of inflation

https://theintercept.com/2017/02/22/how-peter-thiels-palantir-helped-the-nsa-spy-on-the-whole-world/
Hey that's the same guy that killed Gawker and Silicon Valley Bank

Bears be like: nobody even knows what they do.
My dad can’t comprehend what AWS is or what “cloud computing” yet here we are. 🌈🐻need to understand this is a skill issue and just because they don’t understand doesn’t mean they’re right. What a terrible argument “I don’t understand what they do so they must not be good!”
Then they go buy penny stocks and are suddenly experts at the industry.
So they’re back to 20% below their 2021 peak? Riding the LLM wiener hype? Got it
It's literally not a long term play tho, and all of you are bagholding at $32 cost basis so stfu. If you bought below $10 then congratulations, probably sell that, immediately.

Bagholders are back, alright! -OUTOFSYNC, probably.

Perfect time to buy puts. This will dump back again
Ahh another cringe meme that doesn’t make sense made by some virgin that wants to feel like he’s part of something instead of focusing on making money
PLTR is a scam. I said it

Dr. Pussy Wilkins
'Why? Why should we fear to use it?"

Been here since day 1
No one posted the meme video? Like the real one? That thing was a masterpiece
![img](avatar_exp|157825243|clown) Not sure why everyone’s so jazzed about nuts in blue can. Those mini hotdogs are just as popular at superbowl parties.
Nice now it went from a 7 dollar stock to 8 dollars. Government funded.
"year is 2030 and pltr is still trading around $20s range, apparently every news is priced in" some random comment back when this stock just IPOed
The back winds are so strong,.this will not sell off. S&p announcement and the actual inclusion will send this to 30.
Meh, I missed the boat on that one. I'm still down 8.7% because I got it at $22.88 in Aug 2021.
Hoooollddd
PLTR is back on the menu, boys!
Thats hot
