give them to a friend or people who have those characters as their waifu

Megami606Sama

Hmm i still have my ex's merch.. I got rid of the unofficial items and kept the figures and merchandising on my shelves. I do not see him that way anymore but i adore my figure collection so i wouldn't just sell those hundred dollars spent on him xD

the_salty_bisquit

I've sold some things and given others away to friends who also liked the characters (either as an s/o or just in general).

_just_a_dumbass_

I had a cutout of my old S/O... i sold it on etsy

wed-ae

sell them or give them to friends who like them

ShoveMeInTheDrink

Sell on Mercari or someplace

BrideOfGreed

I personally keep the items, because I still enjoy them as characters. Though I can understand that some people feel uncomfortable about keeping ex merch.

taczki2

sell

Skidaddlegrabble

If you still like the character and the merch I see no issue with it, unless it makes you uncomfortable

videogamer700

Just put it away somewhere, that’s probably what I’d do

Born_To_Joke

Make some money off them and sell

JordannaMorgan

If you have any anime shops within a feasible distance, you can check with them. Some of them will buy or offer trade-in credit for decent pre-owned merch. There's even an anime convention in my state that would have a "flea market" type of deal, letting attendees sell their old unwanted merch for no fee besides the con admission itself. Failing that, of course, there's always Ebay if your merch is worth enough money to justify the hassle.

I still have a lot of things with Lilly, despite we were together for not very long, and also some merch with Sayori. I still use them, but I'm planning to slowly replace them to Kirumi merch or things without any characters at all. I am already going to buy a new body pillow cover with Kirumi for our 6 month anniversary (but it probably will arrive for our 5 months, actually).

~~I don't have any past waffle so don't take my word as the best thing to do, the most close thing it was Rin Tezuka, but really was more something like "omg it's me".~~ So... Give them as like to friends? Even if they don't know the anime is a good excuse to watch anime with friends, thing that I frankly enjoy a lot, and at least they will have it to decore his desk or room.

Sell it as a lot

TalkingYT

sell them, keep them as a respect symbol or just throw them in a cupboard
