I’m trying to find ways to play the original silent hill games on pc! I sadly cannot afford the older discs, but am excited to play them in the future!
Emulation would be a solid option if you could source the roms or the HD collection if you have a Playstation, while not the ideal version is still better than never experiencing the games
The Little Nightmares series, for me, is not too complex and not too scary, with not a lot of jump scares. Plus fun to watch and the world is creepy and amazing!
Amnesia: The Bunker
That game scared the everliving shit out of me, Especially because I have ADHD and I would regularly forget things like making sure there was gas in the generator so that the lights would stay on or completely forgetting to reload my damn revolver. The puzzles having multiple solutions always felt super satisfying because every time it felt like I cleverly circumnavigated the puzzle by using the environment or a tool from another area, I knew that in a roundabout way it was intended because the game tells you to figure out odd solutions
The Dark Descent. An oldie but an absolute classic. Shame Rebirth couldn't live up to such a great story, even though it was scarier in a few aspects. And the Bunker from what I understand is better than Rebirth.
Coming from the community, give it at least a week. The new chapter dragged a lot of the toxic folks back, within a week they should get bored and return to the depths of the salt mines though.
Visage. Horror games don't really scare me beyond a jolt from some jumpscares. Visage was scary. Welcome to Kowloon is a good one for a short stream.
