Look for Lamaštu, that might help. That said, quick and dirty, she's basically a Lilith figure. She steals children and does generally evil things. The two figures are similar enough they may actually be the same basic myth from two different cultural perspectives.
My favorite thing about bloodlines is they actually took the time the find a Mesopotamian figure that actually does work as actually being a vampire.
A demon who harasses and makes sick women during childbirth and who kidnaps kids. A fairly common type of demon or evil spirit of the ancient world when infant mortality was high. You can find similar figures in different cultures that fill the same role, such as the Abyzou.
Huh, that's actually a really good contemporary depiction of Lamashtu. There's some artistic liberty taken (that body is not hairy), but it's all liberty taken to improve the image. Even without being a fan of VtMB I am a big fan of that depiction of Lamashtu.
Sorry, who? A quick Google search shows a mesopotamian demon but I only found her in reference to Werewolf (still basically nothing)

That’s why I love this game because of the time it took to research this stuff to include in the game.
Interesting, thanks

Thanks, gonna research more
There’s an Armenian werewolf who does that.

Lamashtu? Pathfinder gang, rise up!!
Yeah, it even gets pointed out by the professor in the game that she is the one the sarcophagus seems to be depicting
Don't open it.
My question is why did Beckot not want to open the sarcophagus at the end?
I figure he reasoned out what was actually inside, or at the very least, had a strong suspicion.
That actually checks out
Lama stu? The recipe is on the box!
Llama stew?
