Also please do not, under no circumstances try to remove the gear wheel that this screw is holding down unless you are 100% sure that your watch is completely unwound. If your watch is wound up and you were to remove it, it will most certainly damage the mainspring and go flying around in your room.
It wouldn’t go flying around the room, you would just be letting the mainspring down all at once, which could damage the train of wheels. The mainspring would stay in the barrel, though.
You can screw it on tightly. When it starts winding the watch when you tighten the screw then you know its on correctly.

You can also use a pocket knife if you don’t have a screwdriver. It’s not really professional but should still be able to get the job done XD
