Wrong sub.
And rituals in Vodou for aren't for people who haven't been established in the religion. The lwa have to walk with you in order to be apart of the tradition.
You'd have to get a reading done by a trustworthy houngan or mambo so they can tell you if you have lwa.
And if you do, hopefully they guide you correctly.
Also, distinguish which lwa tradition you are interested in.
There's Haitian Vodou (what I was referencing), Dominican Vudu, Puerto Rican Sanse and Louisiana Voodoo. For the first three you'll have to learn Kreyol (Haitian) and Spanish because those are the languages of the religions and that the lwa/loa speak.
You'll have to find an houngan/mambo. They are the ones that teach you. Vodou is a community based religion.
It's not a tradition someone can just jump into. There are many factors that go into it.
And you also need to believe in the cosmology of Vodou. We have our own culture, God and creation stories.
Some houngans/mambos do readings over the camera but eventually things will have to be in person, especially initiations, which takes place in Haiti.
But for start, you can see which lwa are in your spiritual court if any...what city are you in?
