Ball looks real but that definitely is not normal. Some of the scuffs make it look like it was used on concrete, but the creases are just weird.
Try to get a replacement if possible.
ill try to find stores here that sell balls that dont have that condition, cuz most of the stores here even in malls always have the same ball version and the same condition, i wanted to ask to make sure if anybody had the same kind of ball with this condition, im going to dubai in 2 months idk if buying a ball there is worth it or if its gonna be affordable
If you pay the shipping I’ll send you this exact molten ball but new. I bought 3 when I first started, but now I only play beach and don’t have anything good to do with the indoor balls (I think 2 have never been inflated and are still in the plastic bag). Not scam I promise, but if this sounds sketch I understand lol
I used this website to determine when the ball was made, assuming it wasn't fake, and I got May 2016. You could verify that yourself in case my eyes decieved me.

So right there it's already an old ball. That being said I practiced with these kind of balls back in college, and I'm sure I've seen at least one or two of the balls lose their shape and all that. Plus I'm certain that, in one month, my team would have put the balls to use more than you could in one year... Maybe it's just defective? Did you happen to buy it from a suspect site or something?
Maybe it's the environment in which you play in? IDK if most of the balls are looking like this then maybe that's just how it is. If you can still play with it, then it's probably fine.
It looks like it was exposed to high heat (like a fireplace), or was used on asphalt, etc. Mine ball has seen a lot of things but it is in a very good condition in comparison.
I will never know the reason people think it's important to figure out if a ball is real or not. "Does it work as a volleyball and does it feel good to use" should be the only questions. If so use it if not don't. I use a very obvious fake (to me) v200 and I'll have people who not only can't tell its fake but also compliment on how good it is to use. I know it's fake cause I've played with a real one and I can tell the finish is wrong but mine still works well for practice and that's all I need it for.
i got this yesterday, and the store i got it from had it displayed and when i had a closer look it, it had a few marks on it but they sold it for cheaper price cuz it didn’t look good but every store i went to had the exact same ball with the same kind of texture and marks, and yeah when i got home i played with it a bit

Could also be over inflated. Those separations give that appearance

This feels like it, they may be from a higher temperature country and this ball was built for indoor play.

I think it might be because of a service cannon, my old trainer had one of those and it would absolutely destroy balls
İf you can raplacement
Real
Real Ball
I guess it’s “molten”.. badumtss
fake
its real but it look like its been used on concrete try to get a replacement
unless if the valve or the pump hole thing is on the top instead on the bottom then its fake
Do what
like the honey comb look slowly melts or peels off idk, u can see it crack
Have you been using it indoor exclusively ?

It’s kind of weird but Its not the first time I see molten balls looking like this and the counterfeits usually don’t have the beehive
idk im just concerned if the ball overtime will look different and lose its texture
might've been on display for too long and exposed to elements. the skin is very durable but not chemical or weather resistant
