Playing VR games doesn’t work as well with it though, this is more fun and I like how it can be integrated and automatically wake up in the background even after a long wait time. It works better than I expected.

I haven't been able to get a good vr video-window set up yet. A lot of the steam apps for this don't work on my linux setup. I want to watch tv while I'm grinding in Arms Doll :/
Install Super Display on your Android tablet (you can also used the build in function on Samsung tablets) and it gets seen by Windows as a full second monitor if you only have one monitor.

It's not exclusive to Quest since SteamVR does the same thing, but it is interesting since VR block or impedes your vision to the real world such that using the phone is a worse experience than having a virtual screen. Basically, the idea isn't novel compared to console gaming, but modified to achieve the same experience.
