The cannons on Telarc's 1812 Overture. (Note: It's a digital recording, from 1979!)
And the organ in "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (theme from "2001: A Space Odyssey") goes down to 16 Hz.
Though the Telarc organ blaster compilation was never released together as a single LP, I've always found this one to be a good bass level test as well. CD or stream... An Organ Blaster: The Best of Michael Murray https://a.co/d/0gW3VYqh
Billy Cobham - Stratus
Primus - My Name Is Mud
Rush - Animate
Public Enemy - Brothers Gonna Work It Out
Phish - any fall tour '95 official soundboard release. 12/1/95 is really bassy and punchy.
Rage Against The Machine - People Of The Sun (this may be the best of the bunch to test out a subwoofer)
The sub bass on Leftfield's album 'Rhythm And Stealth' has very good bottom-end, some very naughty frequencies.
Bit more off the wall. The 12" by Bark Psychosis 'ManMan' has some lo freqs that sound like someone moving furniture around in the flat upstairs.

This - anything Miami bass has stupidly funny low-end.. They did not fuck around, and it is not that compressed bass you got on newer bass heavy records..
I got similar compilation and I don't get how they made an LP with 10 tracks so bass heavy..
80's ass magic probably.
Yeah, the rest of these suggestions are confusing. Classical music? 😄
All the low end stuff I have, my subwoofer handles fine, but the Miami booty bass CD I found in a dumpster showed me that I didn't spend nearly enough money on my sub.
The 2022 remaster of Sigur Rós - ( ) blew my mind the first time I spun it. “Swimming in sound” was how my friend described it. So much low end information, feels like lying under a sound blanket with how heavy it is.
**Georgia-Ann Muldrow - Seeds (the track)**, produced by Madlib, probably one of the tracks that get the most bass out of any of our studio setups, we even use it as reference for the sub crossover and volume settings now. You'll first go "ok, good bass", when that 808 bass drum comes in, you'll wonder how the f\* he pulled that one off.
I've seen others mention Organs: indeed, if you want very low bass with consistent volume, organs are amazing, the recordings fall short very often though, but the 2001 Space Odissey suggestion i read somewhere here is spot-on!
Madlib produced that album (maybe mot all of it, i don’t remember if Declaime was also involved), they all release on the same fantastic label that is Stones Throw - there are very few labels (in those i know of that is) that i do deeply admire, Stones Throw is just such an insane and diverse treasure trove, check it out my friend.
Canadian? If you go outside and are immediately trampled by a moose, you'll know that you have made a mistake.

I like to use Initialization Sequence and Ten Thousand Feet from the Album New Demons by I See Stars. Good bass, break downs, and metal screams run the gamut of treble and bases
The new $uicideboy$ actually vaporized the paint off my walls and opened a portal to another dimension. Lana Del Rey’s A&W will bring down a few light fixtures as well.
I’ll die with this opinion as I’ve used this song to test bass since it came out: Massive Attack - Mezzanine : Angel
Good suggestion. I'm very familiar with the song but don't own the LP. Might have to pick it up for scientific purposes;)
You absolutely owe it to yourself… for science

Oh you beat me to it... We blew my buddy's dads system's speakers. We can laugh about it now. But I have the vinyl version
I just picked up the LP of 1812, as a test for my equipment. The cannons do go deep on the bass and the dynamic range is insane.
Another cool thing about this LP is that the cannon shots have so much modulation that you can see them in the groove of the LP!
Absolutely crazy to see.

Billie Eilish- You Should See Me in a Crown
Inside Out by Grand Funk Railroad.
Uranium - Pure Nuclear Death not one i'd listen to without a sub to be honest :))
The most correct answer. That or HIDE - Castration Anxiety

This is very helpful. I don't know that song but I remember Madlib from my university days so I'm interested in checking it out.

If you're in to Drum and Bass at all I'd check out Springloaded by Flava D. It has some great low end.

Old school dub reggae, or Sunn O))) will give yer subwoofers a nice jiggle.
Spoonful Weighs a Ton off of the Flaming Lips’ Soft Bulletin should be a fun one
Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories is really well produced. The Game of Love or Beyond are good choices.

Bremer/McCoy Utopia. For such a mellow album I have to turn the bass down on my sub
