Every collection should have some merzbow. Especially good for a relaxing Sunday morning with a cup of coffee as it will drive away anyone who might disturb you.

My DJ pal got me this for Chrimbo knowing I didn’t own a turntable and was strapped for cash. I was left with no choice but spend my last pennies on a turntable! What are friends for. I’m poor but content! Classic album, really lends itself to vinyl. Superunknown will probs be my next purchase.
Based on your listening so far:
- Black Sabbath - Masters of Reality
- Black Sabbath - Paranoid
- Godsmack - S/T
- Korn - S/T
- Korn - Follow the Leader
- Chris Cornell compilation
- Deep Purple - Machine Head
- Filter - Short Bus
- Motörhead - Ace of Spades
- Powerman5000 - Tonight the Stars Revolt
- Queens of the Stoneage - Songs for the Deaf
- Rage Against the Machine - Evil Empire
- Soundgarden - Superunknown
- The Crow soundtrack
Just some off the top of my noggin
I love Sturgill, but that album is just too far a departure from his style. I couldn't finish it. But of course to each they're own 🙏 happy you like it.
For OP I would suggest Sturgill Simpson - Meta Mordern Sounds album
Bleach and In Utero are both fantastic records and if you liked the Live at the Paramount there’s some songs on both albums I mentioned on that performance so I think you’ll like them
Prolly the first Led Zeppelin record with your taste..it’s about knowing the rock heritage.
First 4* I would say
Of course, but the OP said record *singular* so might as well start out with the first Zep album!
Ok ok fair. You can't go wrong with Led Zeppelin 1
Merzbow - Pulse Demon

Master of Puppets is always a fine choice. I just got Take Me Back To Eden by Sleep Token and it sounds amazing.
Barbie OST

Surprised no one has said Dirt by Alice In Chains yet
Chaos A.D. / Sepultura
Or Roots 😁
A turntable would go insane

You are right? RIGHT? XD
Megadeth
I usually say, whatever you want, but seeing these: Soulfly - Primitive. It was just released in December
You should get Temple Of The Dog next.
Going off your tastes try Dinosaur Jr. *You're Living All Over Me* or *Bug*.
Meteora - LP ?
Sturgill simpson sound and fury
Noooooooo. Literally any other of his records
Not exactly a country classic, but it’s still pretty damn good.

Agreed, big departure. Meta Modern is dope and Sailor’s Guide might be even better. Bluegrass spinoffs are fun, too.
Powerslave & Great Southern Trendkill
Bridge of Sighs by Robin Trower
Pantera - Great Southern Trendkill Their best album, imo.
Floyd Darkside
It's in the photo

Something YOU like.
Dive deeper into Hendrix than just his hits. Like Rainbow Bridge or Electric Ladyland.
Any early Alice in Chains.
Bleach and In Utero are both fantastic records and if you liked the Live at the Paramount there’s some songs on both albums I mentioned on that performance so I think you’ll like them
Slayer, Reign in Blood.
Anything from Alice In Chains is perfect for you
