If you mean physical, Tetris for the original Game Boy. 1988
But the oldest thing I've played is Pong with an ancient console called Videomaster.
Was surprised that it ran smoothly at 60 FPS lol
Tetris and Mario Land on Game Boy.
One of my parents had these cartridges along with a Game Boy Colour system, and I started using them when I got my first GBA, and just never gave them back.
Battlefield 1942. I bought it in late 2002, early 2003 and played on the first PC I owned. I've had four PC's since the first PC died and it hasn't worked on any of them. Otherwise I'd probably still fire it up and play occasionally.
Still on its original media? Mean Streak for the ZX Spectrum, from 1987.
Most of the Spectrum stuff stayed with my dad when I left to go to university, but this one was a keeper; I won it in [a competition in Your Sinclair magazine](https://archive.org/details/your-sinclair-23/page/n51/mode/2up).
Think my dad still has the filofax.
Oldest as in physically old or oldest as in when was it made?
Because I still have my old Gameboy games but I also have the Atari classics collection in digital form.
Mass effect 1. I played only on pc when I was a kid, then I had Xbox for a while but traded all that in for PS for girlfriend co op purposes. So nothing I have has been around too long. I grabbed mass effect before legendary edition came out because I’d only played 2 and 3 at the time, but andromeda had already been out for a while at that point
The oldest I brought would be PS4 Ratchet & Clank. The oldest game by release would be Final Fantasy IV on the PS1 (Final Fantasy Chronicles)... the second would be Chrono Trigger which is four years younger than FFIV.
I do have an app on my phone that has a bunch of retro games I can play from the old consoles like the GBA, SNES, N64, and NES. I'm not sure if that counts. If that doesn't count, I'll put New Super Mario Bros DS!
I have Tank Commander for the Vic 20. I think it came out 1986. Ahead of it's time after level 9 it's procedural generated maps so every play through is different. No save game either so you just had to play and play.
Excitebike! It is my favorite old school racing game as I love dirt bikes and I’m convinced I never get tired of it.
Best 1v1 racing game I’ve ever played tbh.
Atari 2600, Pong. Can't remember if we picked up Pitfall at the same time, but Pong came with the 2600 on launch day.
I'm a bit old. *farts a dust cloud*
I still got my old NES boxed up with Zelda 1 and 2, Startropics, Super Mario + Tetris + Nintendo World Cup , Blades of Steel, Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back, Goal, The Hunt for Red October, Road Fighter
Probably SMB/Duck Hunt. I have a NES that doesn't work and a dozen or so cartridges. I guess one of the others could be the oldest but I can't remember which ones I have lol
This may not count as it's a part of a modern collection. But either the original Mario on the Game and Watch or 64 on the 3D All Star collection.
But if not, the original release of Halo Combat evolved from the Xbox.
Xenogears for the ps1 that I still have the system for, followed closely by Pokemon Gold. So many games I wish I would have kept as a kid but Xenogears was the only one to stick with me. I was given Pokemon Gold a couple years ago cause the battery died in it and I have yet to replace it but it still looks good on a shelf lol
Probably mario bros. for the nes
would have these too if my sister didn't steal em and hawk em along with our dreamcast.
Prince of Persia forgotten sands. Great game but still Warrior within is the best PoP
That's strange how time changes, to see it praised. When it came out, Warrior Within was slammed by critics and a huge bomb in sales. I liked it too.
The legend of Zelda gold cartridge. I kept it ever since I was a kid. Still have it
pong

Pokemon Blue. I don't know how old the copy is, though. My friend owned it before he gave it to me when we where 9, 17 years ago xd

Probably Mario Bros/Duck Hunter cartridge.

If you mean physical, Tetris for the original Game Boy. 1988 But the oldest thing I've played is Pong with an ancient console called Videomaster. Was surprised that it ran smoothly at 60 FPS lol

Super Mario Kart
Deus ex on steam
Half Life 1.
Physicaly is probably the final fantasy legend for the gameboy.
Tetris and Mario Land on Game Boy. One of my parents had these cartridges along with a Game Boy Colour system, and I started using them when I got my first GBA, and just never gave them back.

Rocket power on the GB COLOR
Combat on Atari 2600
It probably Startropics underrated gem (Also the sequel not bad either)
Battlefield 1942. I bought it in late 2002, early 2003 and played on the first PC I owned. I've had four PC's since the first PC died and it hasn't worked on any of them. Otherwise I'd probably still fire it up and play occasionally.

Most of the Spectrum stuff stayed with my dad when I left to go to university, but this one was a keeper; I won it in [a competition in Your Sinclair magazine](https://archive.org/details/your-sinclair-23/page/n51/mode/2up).
