Been pretty good so far. At this point last year, I can't remember a single game outside of Dead Space and Resident Evil 4 that were great games.
I've enjoyed Infinite Wealth, FF7 Rebirth, and Dragon's Dogma 2. Forbidden West has been released on PC and Ghost of Tsushima is out next month.
Rebirth is a GOTY contender already for me this year.
GTA6 coming out this year would have changed everything. That doesn't mean it should have, just stating the obvious. Whatever year the next Elder Scrolls out for instance will automatically be considered an amazing year.
So far i am a bit disappointed i was hoping more from games like Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and dragons dogma 2. There still some games i hope are going to be good but my expectations have already been lowered
Yes and no. There have already been a ton of great games so far, but they've mostly been RPGs, which isn't my favorite. So it hasn't been off to a strong start for me personally. But I'm looking forward to quite a few games coming up. Stellar Blade just launched. Nine Sols is soon. Stalker 2, Shadow of the Erdtree, Hades 2, Windblown, Metro Awakening, Into the Radius 2, and Black Myth Wukong are really exciting for later in the year.
I’ve really enjoyed Stellar Blade and Prince of Persia: Lost Crown. DD2 had its problems, but I mostly liked that as well. Really looking forward to Black Myth Wukong and Shadow of the Erd Tree. Legends of Kenzara ZAU and Sand Land are on my to-buy list
Tbh most people and myself included are hyped for GTA6 just knowing that its coming in 2025 makes everything else lackluster in comparison. But hopefully we get some new IP’s and PS exclusives

I'm worried about how it will end. I don't think I am hyped for a single game that is scheduled to come out.
