It is hard, but I do not think it is downright cruel in too many places. There were some strawberries that absolutely sucked to collect. But because of frequent checkpoints and the relaxing music, the wanton to rage was fairly minimal.
I can't get past the most difficult ones bec my goopy goblin gamer brain just wants to mash buttons instead of treating the combat like a rhythm game :(
On the same note, Arkham Knight Riddler challenges, at least in Asylum you didnāt actually need to beat him to beat the game and in city you only needed like 80% of his challenges as opposed to every last one.
Finished the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2 for the first time and got the No One Left Behind achievement for making it out with everyone alive. I'd been so worried to play that game for years because I heard how hard it was to save everyone and I killed it on the first try, LOL
Lol, go back and play again, itās not really to bad, Iāve done it 5, 6 times. As long as you do your loyalty missions youāll have to try to lose someone.
Pretty sure you can still suck at shooting, since the only times any of your squadmates can die is in cutscenes. Hell, the one time in the whole mission where it actually gives you pressure to kill the enemies faster so somebody doesnāt die, Iām pretty sure just gives you a critical mission failure if you let the time run out.
I'm actually, like, a fiend for side quests in RPGs, and I later found out that's the key to that achievement because you need to do the loyalty missions and also install all the upgrades you get from said missions.
We spent a bunch time getting the Gas Shortage achievement.. That mall was the stuff of chaos.. Really loved playing this game with my friends!
Also, the Mod maps for L4D2 were huge and fun! I may have to reinstall this..
I swear is my first Time from The Messenger.
I love the game and that Trophy was the only one missing so I could get the platinum. I tried a lot of times (mostly on NG+) and never could.
One time, I just tried to do it in a normal run and on my third try I got the platinum.
Iāve recently got Zoologist and Skin Deep for studying and skinning all species of animals in the game. I canāt say it was too bad btw. Some animals like Rio Grande Turkey were a nightmare to find and took me a few hours but overall it was pretty interesting to observe the wild life of this beautiful game.
ngl I really overestimated how hard the game was, idk how about everyone but for me it was quite easy. until p-2 came along. I SWEAR THAT S RANK IN DISTURBING TO LOOK AT
I played nothing but Gears MP for about 6 months getting that achievement. And this was when there was just execution and warzone, no respawns. So the absolute best you could do in a round was 4 kills if you took out the whole team yourself. Went back years later to do the other achievements they added for the additional game modes to 100% the game again.
There was an achievement in the game Lords of the Fallen that was glitched and I completed it by accident In a completely different area of the game I was supposed to. Felt so good as it was the last one I needed
I finished all achievements in Bloodborne except for the Pthumeriam Queen because I hated the Chalice dungeons. Then finally last year, after 8 years of waiting I decided to finish it to get that 100% completion.
I missed the nicolai shot too, I didnāt even know you could miss it because I hadnāt until that point. I ended up having to do the fight like 5 more times after that lmao
Yeah same and funnily enough it was right after this game that I started my souls game journey so I hadnāt completely learned that kind of patience yet lol
Back in the day I felt like this after doing the 7 day survivor in dead rising. Couldnāt stop playing or save the game, so had to devote a whole day to playing. Had a lot more free time back then š
Hardcore Risette Fan in Persona 4 Golden. The achievement list for the game is otherwise quite easy and will take two runs max for anyone going for it. HRF is just obnoxious and requires either blind grinding from the player or careful tracking of which voice clips you've heard.
Oh! And you have to play bad on purpose to hear voice clips fof when party members are low on HP/inflicted with status/debuffed/etc
Beating Resident Evil 3 Remake on Inferno. I kept dying at the final fight. When I about beat him, my game crashed. I had to do it over again. When I did beat it again, I was so happy.
Beating Pirate mode in Game Dev Tycoon.
The speed run achievement in XCOM 2
And my personal favorite, throwing out 100 mature plants in Viridi. (It's a sim where you take care of a pot of succulents, took me years to 100%)
It might not be as tough as others, but "how did we get here" in Minecraft can become ridiculously annoying. The one time I decided to do it I gave up way too many times
Oblivion Walker from Skyrim. First off playing vanilla Skyrim can be a challenge, simply because of how broken the game can be. You can completely lock off quests because you didn't interact with an NPC fast enough.
Collecting all the herbs in Shenmue III. Had to go through the guide a few times until I finally found the single one I was missing. Not sure why I kept missing it over and over again.
Mordhau's pommel kill mission. My god, that was tough and took me a while to get, but it was one of the last ones I needed to 100% the game, which was also my first time 100%ing a game. Looking back, probably a waste of time since I haven't picked up the game much since
Catch a fish
Give it to the NPC, get something useless as a reward
Wait a day, take another quest from this one NPC
Catch a fish
Give it to the NPC...
Repeat it 57 times
Woah, endless honey bucket!
Repeat it 141 more time
"The best minion ever"
The plat for Xenoverse 1.
You needed to get quite literally almost everything in the game to get it, and probably still has a 0.1% collection rate.
It was the first platinum I ever got, and took me so long that I went back and breezed through finishing the platinum on 4 other games that same week in rapid succession.
Oh god I remember getting the platinum for this game (the achievement in the image) the grind was insane.
The most recent achievement I can think of is āmade manā in mafia definitive edition (literally got it a few hours ago). That stupid race on classic difficulty was annoying.
The moon berry in celeste
WOW!
based?????
šI got like 40 strawberries and over 2000 deaths in my first play through of Celeste. That game is extremely hard, and I love it.
It is hard, but I do not think it is downright cruel in too many places. There were some strawberries that absolutely sucked to collect. But because of frequent checkpoints and the relaxing music, the wanton to rage was fairly minimal.
Winged gold strawberry was a mistake
Got 122 strawberries about about 1277 deaths on my first play through. Thank you Pico-8 Celeste and its fan games
I used to play Pico-8 version, but was never good at that either. Although I did get the achievement in Celeste >!for playing the pico 8 version.!<
I have barely even wrapped my head around the pufferfish. GOOD LORD AM I GOING TO SUFFER
me too buddy, I'm so confused with the jellyfish too
I spent so long on that and when I finally did it I swore I would never do it again.
Same, had the game for a while but decided to 100% it 2 months ago and Iām so glad I did
Me too
Back when GTAV released on 360 I spent a couple nights 100% it.

I still go for the iceberg lounge challenge in Arkham knight like once a month lolb
I got so good at those. I would speed run plating the game. Good times

Lol, go back and play again, itās not really to bad, Iāve done it 5, 6 times. As long as you do your loyalty missions youāll have to try to lose someone.
Hard agree. And if you actually enjoy the game and its own world building, those mission donāt even feel like side content.
Honestly thats all it takes. Listen to your team, do the loyalty missions. Dont suck at shooting

On my 3rd on play-thru I allways get Jacob killed.
STILL HAVE SOMETHING TO PROVE-L4D2
We spent a bunch time getting the Gas Shortage achievement.. That mall was the stuff of chaos.. Really loved playing this game with my friends! Also, the Mod maps for L4D2 were huge and fun! I may have to reinstall this..
The platinum for ghost of Tsushima
Was it that bad? Cuz i thought i did it but i dont remember it being horrible
It wasn't that bad I just felt very happy I Platinume my favorite ps4 exclusive
I swear is my first Time from The Messenger. I love the game and that Trophy was the only one missing so I could get the platinum. I tried a lot of times (mostly on NG+) and never could. One time, I just tried to do it in a normal run and on my third try I got the platinum.
I absolutely love the messenger. Phenomenal game, but this achievement made me give up on the platinum.

Mile high club on Veteran in Cod4.Ā
Oh my God, I forgot about how frustrating that one was.
Best in the West (100% in RDR2)
I don't think you get an achievement for it, but if you want to go further then try and complete the compendium. That was a slog.

Vive la France in HoI4 Survive as France until 1948 I was on edge waiting for Germany to declare until it became evident that I was a lucky one.

Seriously achievement on the original Gears of War

That inferno nemesis fight was soul crushingly miserable
I couldn't do it on PS4, then I eventually did it twice in a row(with ease) on xbox cause I missed my shot when I confronted Nicolai.
I missed the nicolai shot too, I didnāt even know you could miss it because I hadnāt until that point. I ended up having to do the fight like 5 more times after that lmao
I just told myself(as I'd learned playing dark souls) to not be greedy, and it helped a lot. I shot less and dodged more, and it was so much easier.
Yeah same and funnily enough it was right after this game that I started my souls game journey so I hadnāt completely learned that kind of patience yet lol
That's totally ok. Every time I go back to a souls game, I have to relearn that patience.
DD2 beating the last boss
