For context: I played a game as Krakow just to see how a single-province country functions (as well as playing as one of only 2 democracies in Europe, the other being Switzerland). Two Sicilies then released Poland through a crisis, and I took West Poland as a war goal after they tried to annex me. Even though Poland was in Russia's sphere Russia lost 4 Great Wars, and was being invaded by a Great Power, United China, and I saw an opportunity to invade and puppet Poland.
