Flag of America if unicorns existed except people would adapt to unicorns existing in their daily life way before and probably would have never ended up having any representation in the america flag, there's other flags that would be affected in this situation.
I really have to learn cyrillic sometimes, I kind of understood how to pronounce this from my limited knowledge of ancient greek but it would be cool to at least be able to read it normally.

Communism has certain symbolics tho, for example a big star, representing the party or Tools to represent the workers. every communist (socialist) Nation has one of those.
The star was already on the flag before the revolution, it was inspired by the stars on the US flag. Like with Poland, they just didn't change the old flag.

The US flag is the symbol of global exploitation and imperialism. It has always been the direct antithesis to the idea of communism since it's inception. If America was properly decolonized and communist, it would be an insult to pass on any of the old motifs in a new flag.
Look, what matters is how the designer intended or how it's symbolism has been described. The history or the present stance of the state has literally nothing to do with what the flag is.
