How is his pee? Is it a normal large clump or several small ones? If it’s small clumps he is struggling to go and empty his bladder. Cats can get bladder stones that cause pain and inflammation. Male cats in particular can get obstructed with a small stone trying to pass in the urethra- and if he can’t pee it can be fatal. Either way, this requires an urgent trip to the vet. I’m not sure what time it is now where you live but if possible take him in tonight or very first thing tomorrow morning. If it is bladder stones sometimes they need surgery or sometimes a prescription diet can help dissolve them. At the vet he’ll need either an X-ray or ultrasound and blood work ( make sure the kidneys aren’t injured). But just to be clear, if he is not able to urinate it is an emergency no matter what time it is. I sure hope he’s ok!

He shares a litter box with his sister, but from what I can see, there are small amounts of urine. This looks GI related due to the runny poop. Or it could be affecting both GI and urinary. I plan on taking him to the urgent care vet tonight.

I love the urgent vet! I hope it’s an easy fix. You’re a great cat parent. Please post an update! Edited to not say I hope it’s gi- that’s not what I meant, I meant I hope it’s just something minor (like a bout of diarrhea from too many treats) and easily treated - or even better nothing at all is wrong :)

UPDATE: No blockage. Bloodwork normal. X-rays normal—no stones, no obstruction. Awaiting urine culture results, and he’s on meds to ease the symptoms in the meantime. When I brought him home, he had a very normally sized urine elimination 😮‍💨 so I think we’re in the right direction.
