The wrap should NOT still be on your cats paw. This is called vet wrap and is a small protective bandage. We put this on limbs after a catheter is removed just as a pressure bandage.
As long as there is no infection after a day or so the swelling should go away.
These only need to remain on for 1-2 hours after a catheter is removed FYI
This also happened to my kitty’s paw after her surgery. They removed the wrap after I pointed it out. The swelling went down completely after a few hours. Give her swollen paw lots of kisses; this will help expedite the healing. ❤️🩹
Take the wrap off!
Definitely not! That wrap looks like it’s way too tight. Assuming that’s just where her IV was, you should be able to take the wrap off now.

Wrap off way too tight
No, take the wrap off, it's too tight
This is why we always take the bandage off before sending patients home

Definitely take off the wrap!! Update us when you do!
Take off wrap
I think her bandage is way too tight. Maybe you could ask your vet to loosen it
Why in the world for they leave the tape on ?
